It's an understatement to say that there are a lot of Pokémon. From the inception of the video game franchise 25 years ago until now, there h𒉰ave been 807 unique Pokémon available for us to capture and battle with. With such an extensive roster, it may seem overwhelming to try and figure out which Pokémon to put on your team and which to leave in the grass.

Some trainers go by looks and some by typing, l𒁏ike the bug catcher trainers who think a team of four Weedles will somehow get them past all the gyms and to the elite four. However, a vast majority of trainers look for raw power when it comes to building their team. For this list, we're omitting legendary Pokémon, since we all already know how powerful they are.

26 A: AZUMARILL ⛦

via Pokemon Wiki - Fandom

Kicking off this list is this Water-type from the third generation whose appearance offsets how powerful ♎they really are. While some more obvious choices like Aggron or Absol may come to mind, with the right build, Azumarill can be🎃 set up to one-shot a whole bunch of powerful Pokémon.

With access to the Huge Power ability, Azumarill's attack stat gets doubled. While this means it still only has a base attack stat of 100, it can also learn Belly Drum which boosts its attack by six stages. This move does cost half of your HP, but with such a huge base HP stat, it's still enough to weather a few hits. Once you have Huge Power and Belly🦩 Drum, you can Aqua Jet your way to victory.

25 B: BLAZIKEN 🌟

This chicken packs a spicy punch! Blaziken is the original Fir💜e- and Fighting-type and one of the starters from the third generation. With a base attack stat of 120 and a wealth of powerful attacks, Blaziken is strong enough to stand its own against some of the toughest trainers in the game. But when Blaziken got a Mega Evolution, it pushed it into the realm of legendary type strength.

Mega Blaziken gets access to the Speed Boost ability which boosts its speed stat by one stage at the end of every turn. If you use Protect on your first turn, you already have a huge speed advantage because although not super fast, Blaziken doesn't suffer for speed. If you manage to pull off a Substitute a♛nd Swords Dance in Megꦉa form, it's game over.

24 C: CONKELDURR ꦗ

Given that Conkeldurr casually walks around with two concrete pillars for walking sticks, it should give you an idea of how strong they are. Conkeldurr is a Fighting-type, with a massive pool of HP and attack, as well as a decent defense🍷 stat. It lacks in special defense and speed, buꦰt that's an acceptable sacrifice for being able to club your opponent with massive concrete pillars.

With a base attack of 140, Conkeldurr is powerful enough to do significant damage to even the bulkiest of Pokémon. If 🥀you really want to ramp up its attack stat, get a Conkeldurr with the Guts ability, that boosts its attack by 50% if it is affected by a status condition.

23 D: DRAG🥀ONITE 🍸

The original Dragon Pokémon from the first generation remains one of the strongest in the game to this day. Don't leღt the disarming smile fool you; Dragonite is an absolute beast. Dragonite has a base attack stat of 134, which when paired with its solid defense and speed, makes it a nightmare to take down.

Even if its hit with a super-effective move, its hidden ability, Multiscale, reduces the damage it takes when at full health. Most people pair th𓂃is ability with the Weakness Policy item, which makes hitting it with a super-effective move the mosཧt dangerous thing you could do.

22 E: ESPEON

Out of all the Eeveelutions, Espeon probably has the best abilities. Magic Bounce reflects the effect of all stat-lowering moves, status condition moves and entry hazard moves back onto the Pokémon that used them. While this ability may not come ꦕin handy as much during a playthrough of story, it's a feared ability on competitive play with moves like Stealth Rock and Toxic playing such a huge role.

Competitive play aside, Espeon is a very s𝐆trong special attacker with a base stat of 130 and a base speed stat of 110. With access to moves like Psychic, Shadow Ball and Grass Knot, it can deal a whole lot of damage.

21 F: FLORGES 🌠 💮

Florges is a Fairy-type from the sixth generation who is one of the strongest special defenders in the game. With a massive special defense stat of 154, and a typing that only Steel and Poison are super effective against, it takes a lot of power to take down a Florges. F♋lorges is a powerful wall that will help you win when it comes 🍸down to a battle of endurance.

With access to Wish, Toxic and Protect (which we understand is an incredibly annoying move set to go up against) Florges can more often than not outlast its opponent. Don't think all it can do it defend though, because its special attack stat of 112 is🌜n't too bad!

20 🃏 G: GARCHOMP 🌠

As intimidating to look at as it is to fight against, this fourth generation Dragon- a♒nd Ground-type Pokémon is still one of the strongest you can use. Not only is it an extreme threat with its massive attack and speed stats, but it gets a Mega Evolution on top of that, boosting its attack to a base of 170!

Despite all of that attack power, Garchomp's Rough Skin ability makes it a viable option for defense as well. Pair that with a Rocky Helmet and Stealth Rock and your opponent will have to take a big chunk of damage whenever they fight Garchomp with physical attacks. There's a rea♛son the champion Cynthia uses Garchomp; it's one of the strongest dragons out there.

19 ✃ Hꩲ: HYDREIGON

Speaking of dragons, here's one from the fifth generation with the unique Dark- and Dragon-typing. They say that two heads is better than one, and three is even betteꦫr, as anyone who has used Hydreigon knows. But getting one is no easy matter. You have to get a Zweilous to level 64 before it evolves and at that level, Zweilous will have a hard✃ time against fully evolved Pokémon.

But the payoff for patience is sweet because Hydreigon is an incredibly powerful special attacker. Its unique typing gives it access to moves like Dark Pulse that ܫmost other dragon types are unable to get.

18 🐬 I: INTELEON 🦄

When we first saw the starters for Pokémon 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sword & Shield, we never thought that the timid looking Sobble would evolve into this suave looking sharpshooter. Inteleon is the final evolution of the Water-type starter from the most recent generation and is ꧂a special attack and s🦩peed specialist. Its special attack stat of 125 is one of the highest among all starters.

Of course, the downside is that Inteleon is lacking in any sort of defense, but sometimes the best defense is a good offense. W༒ith its unique attack Snipe Shot that has an increased critical hit ratio, and its awesome Gigantamax form, Inteleon is a powerhouse of a starter.

17 🐓 🌄 J: JOLTEON

Jolteon, as would be expected of an Electric-type, is the fastest of the Eeveeluꦯtions. One of the original three, alongside Flareon and Vaporeon, Jolteon has been lost among the countless other forms Eevee can evolve into. Which is shocking, because Pokémon don🌊't get much faster than Jolteon. A base speed stat of 130 paired with a special attack of 110 means you'll be attacking first most of the time.

Jolteon may not have 🍨the most diverse move set, but with moves like Volt Switch, Thunder Wave and Shadow Ball, it can hold its own against a number of different typings.
