Thanks to a recent update, players now have the ability to defend themselves from hostile creatures in Subnautica: Below Zero using snowballs.

One of the many dangers players will encounter in this 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:survival game are ꦇthe Snow Stalkers, lizard-like snow beasts with long claws and an alligator jaw that can do serious damage to an unprepared player. With the Frostbite update, players can now create snowballs and hurl them at Snow Stalkers to temporarily stun them.

The new development was revealed on Unknown Worlds Entertainment’s for the game. Snowballs, it turns out, are not only capable of warding off Snow Stalkers but are also an important resource for survival. They can be combined w🌱ith Purification Tablets to turn the Snowball into drinkable water. This now gives the player a readily available source of clean water when traversing on land and potentially away from their base.

The Frostbite update also includes a number of other features. The game now has escalating weather which means storms will slowly roll in giving players tim♎e to seek shelter and gradually fade as it would in real life. With these dramatic shifts in temperature, players are now at risk of getting hypothermia and must seek warmth via shelter, coffee, or naturally occurring Thermal Lilies.

To help survive these new risks, tools a little more technologically advanced than Snowballs have been introduced as well. Quantum Lockers will let players store items in one locker and access those same items from an entirely different locker some distance away, which is handy for accessing emergency supplies or transporting large volumes of items to your 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:underwater base. Surface Beacons are another new item that lets players mark are꧒as of interest so they can be found again more easily.

While the game is still in early access it shows that the developers are still actively engaged in adding to and improving the game to prepare for a full release. The inclusion of little details, like the ability to create 𒊎snowballs and use them in combat or for drinking water, shows the developers are invested in making this an immersive and fun experience for fans.
