- Head 250-300 meters South-Southwest of the Drop Pod.
- Dive down 150 meters into the Twisty Bridges biome.
- Find a small platform with a small compartment. The Habitat Builder is inside.
Extended Guide - Info On The Twisty Bridges Biome
The Twisty Bridges biome is located to the South-South West of the three potential Drop Pod landing spots.
It's likely the first biome you come across as you head towards Delta Island to progress the storyline of Be✅low Zero. The biome is very distinctive, with its twisty bridges (yep, they look like tentacles almost) covered in blueꦇ lights.
You want to travel around 250 - 300 meters from the Drop Pod. Dive below the waves and you will see the Twisty Bridges biome below you. This should put you almost directly overhead of where the Habitat Builder Fragment spawns.
Some general tips for the biome:
- Brute Sharks roam the area. They can be deadly, especially in the very early game, dealing a base of 30 damage. That's enough to ruin your day. Definitely one of the carnivores in Subnautica: Below꧑ Zero toཧ watch out for.
- Some areas of the Twisty Bridges get very deep. You will probably need a Rebreather, Swimming Fins, and the Seaglider if possible.

Once you're 250-300 meters from the Drop Pod, dive down around 150 meters into the caverns of the Twisty Bridges.
You're looking for a small platform with a building on it and a Data Box. Inside the small building, there's a Habitat Builder fragment laying on the floor. The Data Box contains the fragment for the High Capacity O2 tank, another useful item.
While you're꧋ in the Twisty Bridges biome you can also look out for:
- Tech Sites - These small platforms can continue scannable items, Data Boxes, and other loot like Nutrient Blocks. They're useful in the early game.
- Ribbon Plants - You will need batteries to run your new Habitat Builder, and Ribbon Plants are essential to craft Batteries. Twisty Bridges has loads of Ribbon Plants in its many caves and caverns.

- 1 Wiring Kit (crafted with 2 Silver at a Fabricator, another reason to search for Argentite Outcrops in the Twisty Bridges.)
