Before you can craft the Snowfox, you need to find the fragments for the vehicle scattered around 4546B. There are three sep💃arate fragments you need to find for the Snowfox. They have a chance to spawn in:
- The Glacial Basin
- The Phi Robotics Center (located in a cave in the Glacial Basin biome)
- Marguerit Maida's Base (located in a cave below the Purple Vents biome)
Because the Phi Robotics Center is inside the Glacial Basin, this is probably the easiest location to find all the fragments you need in one go. There are multiple fragments spawns outside the Roboticsও Center.
Things to rememb🦄e⛄r while you're looking for the Snowfox fragments:
- Snow Stalkers are going to be the biggest challenge when trying to explore the Glacial Basin. They can be aggressive and one of the scarier n🦄ew carnivores addಌed to Below Zero. Flares will help you deter them and give you some space to hunt for the fragments.
- The Phi Robotics Center is not difficult to find: the entrance is a large door in a cave. It says Phi Robotics Center on the door.
- Find the entrance to the Center and head up the snowy ramp behind you. There will be an open space where fragments can spawn or a ladder you can climb up to find other fragments.
How To Craft The Snowfox
Once you have collected the fragments for the Snowfox, you will also need to grab the fragment for the Snowfox Hoverpad. Thankfully, this is located at the entrance of the Phi Robotics Center. Y𝕴ou can pick it up before♚ you scan the other fragments nearby.
The Hoverpad is easy to craft, you just need:
- 2 Titanium
- 1 Wiring Kit
To craft the Snowfox you need:
- The Snowfox Hoverpad
- 2 Magnetite

- 1 Titanium
Once built, you can deploy the Snowfox and jump in but be careful. The Snowfox is only used for traveling overland and will not work if it goes in the water. If you do crash - it happens, don't worry - you can pick the Snowfox up and rede🐓ploy it whereve🌄r you want.
The Snowfox also comes with a togglable light as default, and once you find the upgrades, you can install a "Jump" module and a module that deters Ice Worms from attacking you while riding, w♉hich makes it one of the be♈st vehicles in the game. Here's where to find those upgrades.
Where To Find The Snowfox Upgrades
There are two upgrades for the Snowfox: the Ho൩p Module and the Ice Worm Attack Reduction module.
- The Hop Module is found in the Glacial Basin biome. This module allows the player to activate a small jump, which is pretty useful considering some of the glacial biomes have massive holes in the ground. It can also be used to jump over small rocks and ledges.
- The Ice Worm Attack Reduction Module is found in the Arctic Spires biome. This module does exactly what it says: stops Ice Worms from attacking you while on the Snowfox, very helpful for exploring the icy wastes. - The exact coordinates of the Hop Module Upgrade are -1515 11 -1038. To access coordinates on PC, just hit the F1 key. On consoles, you will need to open your PDA and head over to the "Other" tab. You're looking for "World Pos", which will tell you the coordinates of your current location.
- This is located in the South-Western corner of the Basin.
- You're looking for a deserted platform. The Hop Module is inside a Data Box on the table.
Where To Find The Ice Worm Attack Reduction Module
Finding the Ice Worm Attack Reduction Module will take you through a literal maze infested with Ice Worms. There are tunnels, twisting corners, and a bridge that you need to extend from the Glacial Basin bio♛me. This place is a bit of a nightmare to find.
- The exact coordinates for the Ice Worm Attack Reduction Module are -1096 61 332.
- Once over the bridge, you'll enter a series of ravines. This is where it gets a bit complicated. Head to the North-West wherever you can and keep an eye on the coordinates.
- The module is inside a Data Box on a small platform. There are a few ladders you need to climb up and down before you get to it.
The upgrades are then crafted at the Fabricator and attached to the Snow✅fox via its Upgrꦍade panel. Both upgrades only cost a Wiring Kit and two Titanium to craft.
