Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is only a couple of weeks away, and Rocksteady is attempting to get everyone excited with yet another video from its YouTube series, Suicide Squad Insider. This time, Rocksteady went deeper into the game's customization options and post-launch content, finally confirming after several teases and hints that The Joker is being added in Season 1 as a playable character.
In the video, it's explained that this version of The Joker is not actually the one from the Arkhamverse. Instead, The Joker in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been brought in from a series of differing dimensions called Elseworlds. In this Joker's Elseworld, he wasn't actually the Clown Prince of Crime and hadn't established himself as a supervillain before Braniac's invasion.

That was pretty much it or what Rocksteady revealed will be coming in Season 1, though it did give us small teases of future additions. For example, the developer explains that each season will have two parts, usually centered around some kind of DC villain, thanks to the inclusion of multiple Elseworlds that players can explore. While we only got brief glimpses, it does look like one of these Elseworlds will take players back to locations such as Gotham, and even Arkham Asy🦩lum.
