The team organized a Kickstarter in February of 2019, which was quickly funded by gamers around the world. The game is heavily inspired by other simulation titles and puts you in a world surrounded by ocean. You will be tasked with exploring the islands and complete quests, below we have listed the ten reasons you should be exci🐷ted a♋bout the game.

10 ﷺ Beautiful Designs

One of the first things that will catch your eye about many of the characters is their beautiful and colorful designs. Summer in Mara features whimsical characters and wondrous takes on sea cre𝓰atures. Napopop, for example, is a colorful creature that 🧜has a sea shell for a head. While this creature could easily have come off as less appealing, prospective fans for the gaming are already excited to get merchandise of the characters.

Other designs such as Mara he💦rself are well thought out and have a charm to them that makes the world feel magical.

9 Colorful Cinematics ▨

Outside of JRPGs, we don't get to see a ton of animated gaming intros. Summer in Mara, though, made one of its main goals making an animated intro in the vein of Ghibli's art style. The animated opening takes you through several of the different locations and characters that you will meet in the game. It also helps to set up the more🐽 cheerful tones while giving you a peek at the trouble that's brewing in the ocean.

I✃f you're a 🦩fan of great animation, then you will at least want to give the opening video a watch to get an idea of the game.

8 ♋Quirky Characters

One of the things that will always help a game go far is having , quirky characters that gamers can latch on to. The game already has several factions carved out to set apart the many inhabitants of this strange world. Several characters also already had a backstory planned at the beginning of the game's funding that helped assure donators that characters would be charming additions to Mara.

Like many games where exploration is key, Mara is set to pull you in by letting you explore the sea t﷽aking in the team's different islands and creations.

If you love the feeling of carving💃 out your own path and finding every little secret in a game, 🐻then you'll love hitting the sea.

6 Ton𒊎s Of Quests

One of the developer's biggest selling points is the sheer number of quests set to be in the game. In the official statements made b🅷y Chibig, the game is stated to have over one hundred and fifty missions 🧔for players to find and complete. The company even states that the quests will help make the world a better place, leading us to believe that we can improve the aesthetics of the world and NPCs attitudes towards the players

While we are sure all the quests won't be complex m🍃issions, with so much sea to explore, we are hoping for some of them that unlock new areas.

5 Farming

What would a farming sim ꧟be without, well, farming? The game offers tons of options for you to choose from and several different crops to grow. The devs also included animals such as pigs for you to care for. It's up to you to balance managing the farm on your home island with going out💟 and exploring the world. The more you explore, though, the more you can expand upon your farm.

Like other si🤡milar title༺s, you will also be able to do things like fish and explore the depths of the ocean to gather even more items.

4 💮 Tons Of Items

If you love to collect, then you're going to be excited to know that this game features😼 tons of items. The game features over one hundred items to collect, use for crafting, and even trade. The game's page also mentions crafting tools, which we can only assume will help make your life much easier.

In addition, the Kickstarter even hit the milest🤡one to allow players to customize their character's outfit to their liking.

2 ꦕ 🦩 Customize Your Boat

A game about sailing on the open ocean wouldn't be complete if you were stuck with the same boat the whole time. The game will allow you to customize your boat so that you can move between islands 🌳much faster. Of course, you will have to learn how to improve your boat💛 as the game isn't likely to just hand out free upgrades at the beginning. You will even be able to increase the size of your boat.

We can only hope that we will be able to use ♋our 🌼ships for storage or even customize them cosmetically.

1 🍎 Tr෴easure, Music, and Upgrades
