Dungeon building is the name of the game (literally) in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Dungeon Maker, a new indie game from the developer Firechick. In it, you create your own labyrinths for players to navigate, share them online, and test out other players'!
This guide will review one of the most essential parts of the process: all of the enemies൲ 🔯that you can populate your dungeons with.
Some things to keep in mind about enemies...
- The attacks of all these enemies are blockable with a shield, though it's more difficult for some than others
- All enemy attacks do half a heart's worth of damage
Fly
- Hits To Kill: 1 Regular Sword Attack
The Flies are enemies best used in groups. They're almost entirely harmless - except for when the player approaches them. As the Flies fly away to find another place to rest, the player can get caught in the midst of them. They aren't openly antagonistic except for when they're disturbed.
Slug
- Hits To Kill: 3 Regular Sword Attacks
The Slug enemy is one that crawls around an area, especially preferring to stick to walls. It'll do that peacefully for a while until it catches sight of the player. At that point, it gets a crazed expression on its face and charges you down! The Slug w♏ill push you back significantly and do damage until you either kill it or move far enough out of its way.
Eyeballed Cactus
- Hits To Kill: 3 Regular Sword Attacks
The Eyeballed Cactus is a generally unthreatening enemy. It's fairly slow and doesn't pose much of a threat so long as you're careful. The real trick, though, is that these Eyeballed Cacti can burrow underground and pop up somewhere randomly to surprise you.
Spider
- Hits To Kill: 4 Regular Sword Attacks
The main benefit to the Spider enemy might be how overwhelming it is to face one. Spiders will jump to incredible heights as they pursue the player, so having more than one on the screen at the same time gets to be a lot to handle very quickly. They're also tougher to kill than other opponents, meaning you'll have to deal with them longer.
Slime
- Hits To Kill: 1 Charged Sword Attack
Slimes are, like the Eyeballed Cacti, slow-moving and generally unthreatening. They're more annoying than they are intimidating. That's because, when you attack one normally, it can huddle up inside its beige outer shell and become invincible. Generally, you'll have to hit them with a charged attack from a little further away to take them down.
Piranha Plant
- Hits To Kill: 3 Regular Sword Attacks
The Piranha Plant enemies are much more challenging. Not only are they faster than many of the others, but they also wield tridents that they can throw at the player forever. You should take advantage of the Shield to block th🍰eir attacks, or the Hookshot to 🌱stun them, if you can.
Spinning Statue
- Hits To Kill: Unkillable
The Spinning Statue enemies are a pain. They're the first unkillable enemy you'll encounter because they feature at the end of the game's tutorial segment. Spinning Statues shoot lasers from their massive eyes. While these lasers can be blocked with a shield, it's not as easy as it sounds; the player can point the Shield in one of four directions, but the lasers can approach from the diagonal.
Rotating Fire Chain
- Hits To Kill: Unkillable
The Rotating Fire Chain enemies are exactly what they sound like: lines of fire that spin around a central axis, much like you've probably seen in many other video games. When you place the Rotating Fire Chain in the building mode, you can toggle which direction the fire will spin.
Fireball Spewer
- Hits To Kill: Unkillable
Fireball Spewers are stationary enemies which throw fireballs at the player every few seconds. Since they're unkillable, stationary, and impossible to stop, the player will have no choice but to keep moving through the area as quickly as possible - or to do a lot of running as they try to figure out the puzzle you've put in that room. This is great for just that extra bit of added tension to an environment.
Sliding Spikes
- Hits To Kill: Unkillable
Sliding Spikes are like tiny Roombas of death. When you place them in the builder mode, you can tell them which direction to slide. While roaming the dungeon, those weaponized tiles will slide back and forth or up and down forever, constantly getting in some poor, unsuspecting player's way.
Electric Sliders
- Hits To Kill: Unkillable
Like the Sliding Spikes, Electric Sliders will also slide across a room to attack the player. However, the unique thing about them is that they have motion sensors. They only activate and attack when the player is directly above, below, or beside one 🃏of them. Once activated, they slide in a straight line and, upon hitting a wall, return to their original position.
Floor Spikes
- Hits To Kill: Unkillable
We're all familiar with Floor Spikes from every video game ever. These ones operate basically the same way. The spikes will periodically pop in and out, damaging anyone standing on top of them. When you place them in the builder mode, you're given three options for how long they take to go in and out of the floor, soꦛ you can make it as𝓡 much of a challenge as you please.
