Speedrunning 🌞is impressive enough as it is, but there's always one person who has to take things to the next level.
Before the days of Twitch, YouTube, and online leaderboards, most of us lived in blissful ignorance that we were as good at our favorite games as we possibly could be. No one in the small circle of people who played the same games could beat us at Goldeneye, or complete Sonic 2 faster than we could, so it was safe to assume t💟hat no onꦅe else could either.
Turns out those of us who thought that were very, very wrong. 99% of us anyway. Years later, ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚour eyes were opened to the wide, wide world of speedru🀅nning. Games that took us months to complete, and years to master, can be completed in a matter of minutes when a controller is in the right hands.
However, even being a world-renowned speedrunner isn't enough for some people. Some players need to take things up to another level entirely. Take Samura1man, for example. The speedrunner recently fired up168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Super Mario Sunshine and managed to complete the Nintendo classic in three hours and 12 minutes. Doesn't really sound that impressive, does it? Especially since the speedrun world record for Sunshine is more than two hours faster than that.
There's a catch though, and it's a big one. Unlike everyone else who has attempted to speedrun Sunshine, Samura1man used a rather unconventional controller: the guitar controller intended for use on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The different color buttons on the𝄹 neck of the guitar match up with the buttons on a 🐼regular controller, but to use it to play any other game rather than the two above is incredibly difficult.
Samura1man not only managed it, but he completed Sunshine in a quicker time than most regular players could manage. The entire run from start to finish can be checked out in the video above. It takes an in-depth knowledge of a game to accomplish a feat like this, as well as an intimate knowledge of the guitar controller.
