When it comes to Nintendo-made villains, Super 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Paper Mario's Dimentio stands out as a particularly strange, dark manifestation. Typically, villains of the Mario series tend to be more 1-dimensional (pun not intended🐬) or even comical.

Yet, this odd antagonist is unique and deceptively in-depth, shining as one of the more memorable characters of the Paper Mario series. While this jester is known for his goofiness and lightheaꦗrted humor, he's also distinctly sinister and dark.

With this list, we'll cross the dimensional plane and explore 10 interesting facts and trivia you ꦓdidn't know about this pe💎culiar villain.

10 🅷 Orig☂ins May Be Traced To The Pixls

The strange, colorful cast that makes up Super Paper Mario, known as Pixls, might not be as distant from their antagonist as you think. When speaking with the bartender Carson, you may h🎃ave picked up a tidbit from one of his stories. It implies that Dimentio is likely related to the same magician who created the Pixls.

It would make♓ sense, given Tippi's recognition of this villain early on, and the fact that she and♛ the magician were both part of the same tribe of the ancients. This could be a classic tale of "yin and yang," which features two opposing sides of the same magical coin.

9 Influences 💯From Past Nintendo Games 🦩

As you'd imagine from such a strange, colorful character like Dimentio, he features many influences to round out his unique design. Most likely have recognized the 🦩classic theatre mask that makes up his face, and his overall jester motif.

Yet, there's seemingly more to his look than meets the eye; much of which may reference past Nintendo games specifically. His appearance largely resembles the Jesters from Super Mario RPG, in addition to Harley Q from Wario's Woods. His face is also reminiscent of those intimidating Phantos from Super Mario Bros. 2.

8 🧔 A Pun-Laden Name 𒆙

As is the case with his visual design, m🎃uch thought clearly went into🍷 the clever name of this character as well. Part of his name is derived from the word "dimension," which is fitting given the villain's knack for traveling through time and space.

While this component of his name may be fairly obvious, his name is actually derived from another word as well - "dementia." It makes sense, given the zany, off-the꧒-wall nature of th🎉is antagonist.

These puns are effective in conveying much about this unique character with just a si🌺ngle word.

7 𝕴 An (Almost) Consta🅺nt Grin

Ironically, it's the most sinister villain in Super Paper Mario who constantly possesses a smile. In fact, this malevolent character manages🌠 to hold his grin for nearly the entire game, only breaking it when being struck or being defeated in battle.

It's a nice 🐟little touch of detail♔ to the game, to be sure. It conveys this joker's sly, arrogant ways, which is apparently only broken up by occasional tastes of humble pie.

6 Tattle-Proof ꩵ

The ever-useful Tattle ability in the Paper Mario series allows you to scout out your enemy♊. The m💎ove displays their HP, Attack and Defense power, along with showing a descriptive blurb.

Given the power of the strange, unknown Dimentio, this would seemingly be useful. Unf📖ortunately, the villain stands as the only boss who can't be Tattled the vast majority of the game. This is because Tippy - one of the♈ few who knows of him - is never with you when fighting him.

The only instance Dimentio can be Ta𓂃t𒀰tled is just before his transformation into Super Dimentio in Castle Bleck.

5 ꦡ A Cheeky Super Dimentio Smash Bros. Ultimate Reference

features a host of references to various Nintendo and third-party properties. One of the most amusing comes in the form of a Meta Knight and giant Luigi battle at the Paper Mario stage, which netཧs you a Dimentio spirit.

This is a reference to Super Dimentio controlling Luigi and manifesting through a mega-sized, zombie version of Mario's brother. Though this battle isn't quite as epic as the Super Paper Mario fight it draws from, it makes for a del𒊎ightful reference for fans.

4 ♐ Joining Him Leads To A Swift Demise ✱

As it happens, there exists a way to be defeated at the hand of Dimentio without actually fight🎃ing him. The simple act of succumbing t⛦o his sadistic ways and joining him will bring you a swift punishment from Nintendo.

In Chapter 8-3, Dimentio will ask Mario and Luigi to join with him. If you're insistent enough and answer "yes" multiple times, it'll grant you an abrupt "game over." Put simply - never give in to this master of deception!

3 🧸 Appears In A Mario Manga

As it happens, Dimentio's managed to cross from𝔉 the dimension of gaming to the popular Japanese media,ဣ manga.

The manga known as Super Mario-Kun contains a couple volumes - 37 and 38, to be specific - which center around a plot based on Super Paper Mario. These volumes showcase Dimentio as the chief viౠllain, with a role largely emulating that from the ga๊me.

While the black and white graphics tend to diminish this colorful character somewhat, he still sports that sadisti🌠c smile🌟 quite well!

2 Master In Dimensional Traveling And Manipu🐻lation

As Super Paper Mario players may know, Dimentio holds a variety of powers and means of manipulation. This takes the form of his unique ability to transcend dimensions and traverse the 2D and 3D realms.

Not only this, but he can also float, teleport, clone himself, and turn invisible. He's the sole creator of his own dimension, "D," and can call forth "The Void." This is a black hole that holds the power to destroy dimensio🍒ns and universes🅰.

Basically, our plumber heroes are quite outmatched for much of this RPG...

via: deviantart.com (SAB64)

Every villain needs some kind of influence or source for their evil. Super Paper Mario's Dark Prognosticus serves🃏 this function for Count Bleck, and his eventual betrayer Dimentio. It's this work of black magic that created The Void, and is used by Bleck throughout the game.

It turns out, this jester puppet-master may have been even more influential to the dark happenings in the game than he lets on. Carson mentions that his description and prominent role in this book hints reveals Dimentio actually wrote it.
