If there’s one game series I’ll go back to time and time again, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:even if I wish it were for the fir༺st time, it’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. The games are so accessible and always a fun time regardless of the length of the play session. The thing is, there have been more than a few times when I saw a character and audibly asked, who?
Partially my ignorance, partially due to the way the world was at the time, and partly just because 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the roster has grown so big, there are some characters I really don’t know. I look at some o☂f them and 💦see a total stranger. Total strangers that can decimate their enemies and be fun to play, but still, total strangers.
10 Ness
To be entirely fair, I was but a lad when the original Super Smash Bros. was released to the world. I had played 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Nintendo before, but just the bigger titles like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Mario World and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Street Fighter 2.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:When I unlocked Ness, I actually thought it was just som🦩e random kid meant to fill a slot as a kind of player character. I didn’t understand why he had a baseball bat or why he could shoot strange bolts of flames, but at least I thought he wasཧ kind of cool. Maybe a bit weird and dorky looking, but still cool!
9 ꦡ Ice Climbers
Just who the Ice Climbers were was a weird question - their name kind of answers that in itself. I should have been asking why they were in Melee, and just where it was that they came from.
Of course, the characters come from the classic NES title of the same name, but a kid who wasn’t alive during the prime of the NES wasn&rsq💎uo;t going to know that. The duo just seemed like a fun little mascot character for me never ever to pick.
8 🎀 Marth & Roy
At the very least, I know I’m not alone on this one. The funny thing is, I was a huge fan of the first Fire Emblem game the west ever officially got. I just had no clue that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marth and Roy were from that same world for far too long.
As far as I knew, they could have been characters ripped from one of the anime I caught on TV way past my childhood bedtime. The names don’t inspire a lot of wonder when you first hear them, which raises the age-old question, why didn’t we get more of the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem games?!
7 Mr. Game An♔d Watch
I feel like not knowing Mr. Game And Watch is another fair game. Everything about him sc𓆏reamed joke character. He had a silly moveset,꧙ except for that terrifying side-B, and he didn’t resemble any Nintendo character I had ever seen.
I was still 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:getting used to the Game Boy Color; how was I to know that there was an even more primitive handheld made all the way back in the '80s? That’s just too much to ask of a child who incorrectly believed Kirby was the best character in the game.
6 Lucas
By the time Brawl hit store shelves, I had at least wised up to what 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Earthbound was. You should have seen the look of confusion I had when I learned that Lucas was another character from a series I didn’t know existe💟d.
Lucas wasn’t just from another game in the series, he was from the third game. I didn’t even know Earthbound was the second in a s🍃eries. The Smash developers really are just trying to confuse the North American audience whenever they can, aren’t they?
5 Shulk
Yeah… this one is my bad. He just looked like another classic anime boy; I couldn’t have known that he was part of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best RPG series in recent memory. At first, I just assumed he was another Fire Emblem charactဣer, but one from some kind of futuristic world.
Obviously, I was incredibly incorrect with that assessment. I did Shulk dirty, and I apologize for that. That saꩲid, he🌃 and I have never clicked in any of the games, so it’s probably for the best that I was never attached to him as a character in the first place.
4 Min Min
To this day, I still don’t entirely believe Min Min is a real character from a real game. I know she’s from the hit Nintendo series that everyone absolutely loved, ARMS, but I’ve never seen a single person play, le🧸t alone talk about the game, so maybe this is all one b✃ig prank on me.
If nothing else, Min Min has a great character d🐻esign, one that would have me picking her any day. I’d just feel bad remaining ignorant and keeping the character at ARMS-length, so I’ll put in the work to really learn what makes Min Min, Min Min.
3 Terry
When I heard the excitement over a new Smash character, I couldn’t help but grow curious about who’d been added to the game. It f✤elt like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate already had everyone in the game, but apparently, it needed a 🦩little Terry.
Not knowing who Terry is, hearing a name that plain has been added to something as bombastic as Super Smash Bros is a bit of a confusing moment. When I saw him, I finally realized it was the guy from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fatal Fury, the one I never knew even had a name.
2 Pyra And My🎀thra🎃
I don’t know what to tell you. You saw that Shulk was on this list, you should have known that these two were coming as well. Fun update from me, still haven’t played any of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xenoblade Chronicles games, but I know everyone loves them.
I will get to playing them eventually… maybe. At least when I saw them, I had a feeling that they were characters from that series. So while I didn't know for sure, I was at least correct in my blind assumption.
1 Olimar
I may not have known who Olimar was when I saw him in Brawl for the first time, but the little hero of Pikmin stole my heart in a hurry. I’ve never seen anyone other t✃han 🥂myself pick the little guy, making him a fantastic underdog.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:꧅I didn’t even know what a Pikmin was. I just called them little buddies and apologized every time I tossed one at my foes. I’ve since gone back to play Pikmin, and all it did was give me a newfound respꦬe🀅ct for Olimar and his little buddies.
