has led a tough life, a very rough one. He has been neglected as a person, it's a pain that knows no bounds. The creator of Kirby/Super Smash Bros. has made so clear many times that Waluigi will never be in Smash.
This revelation was made even more clear for a more "Traditional" character in the Piranha Plant. This was the last insult for the Army of those who love Waluigi, his only inclusion has been an assist trophy and a sticker, woohoo... So here are 5 reasons why Waluigi should be a fighter in Smash and 5 reasons he shoulꦍdn't be a fighter.
10 Should: Every Other Mario Character is Pℱresent 🤡
Like a true betrayal, every other Mario character was invited to this Mario Party, even Daisy as a reskin of Peach. It wouldn't be too demanding with the amount of in house resources Nintendo has to produce Waluigi, they even have Waluigi as a model and with fighting animation. It💯 would be too easy to convert him to a fighter.
9 Shouldn't: Would Be Too Over-Powered 🌸
There has been so much time that Waluigi has been pent up, that the moment he is finally released he will be well overpowered. His pothole stomp would likely end whole games if the light blast of pure anger wouldn't destroy game consoles. H꧟is final smash would be final for the planet, a type of Waluigi self-cloning te🤡chnique where his very pained soul explodes out. It's a very dangerous scenario; it could really fly off the handle and out of Nintendo's control.
8 Should: ꧅His Moveset
His move set is almost already pre-made with the assist trophy, and it wouldn't be the first time an assist trophy character's move set was transferred over to their fighter set. This is the most valid point any fan will bring up about Waluigi coming to be a Smash fighter. Most of the animations are a𒁏lready available and would take minimum effort to add the ones that are missing to complete his fighter move set, but honestly, people would be happy if he had a completely broken move set where half the buttons didn't work. It would only increase Waluigi's legendariness if they did so.
7 ✤ Shouldn't: Would Probably Kill Most of The Characters 💯
Without a doubt, the pent up sadness and rage that Waluigi possesses would develop into a perma-kill code that would annihilate other fighter characters from even being selectable any longer. Any Fire Emblem character would feel this situation as all too familiar and most likely freeze up when faced against Waluigi with a 1000-yard stare. Waluigi's terror wouldn't stop until he is the only character left in Smash so that everyone knows his rage. Nintendo probably knows of this consequence and tries to keep the beast at bay by releasing it in small incremen🎉ts through the assist trophy.
6 ಌ Should: He's the Most Popular Side Gaming Character
Many people relate or love Waluigi when it comes to sport and party games he is always a favorite, even ironically. Those who even hate the look of him, eventually come around to using Waluigi and growing his massive arm▨y of followers when those peo🌼ple stop using him ironically and eventually fall in love with his charm.
It's to the point where Waluigi is expected to be in Smash because he is playable in every side Mario game there is. While Wario may seem like the boss, many prefer Walu🔯igi in comparison just for his oddball-ness. Waluigi is like a new and exciting flavor in comparison to the old and played out tastes of the other Mario characters.
5 ♓ Shouldn't: Voted Most Likely to Assemble the Infinity Stones ✱
His rage knows no bounds, his power, and sheer determination would be enough to assemble the infinity stones and change the worl🐻d into his image if he had to. The longer Waluigi has to wait the closer everyone comes to a full-on Waluigi apocalypse where he will invade every piece of medium. No other character ould stop him at that point, not Shaggy nor Shrek. The world will end. AT this point it may be too late and containment is the closest Nintendo can hope for.
4 ꧅ Should: It Would Make Fan🔜s Happy
Fans would rejoice at the ability to play as Waluigi; it would cause many to change their mains to him at a type of glorious celebration for the character af⛦ter 20 long years of not making the cut like the shortest kid on the basketball team. Full 8 person brawls will be held in his name where all character✱s would be Waluigi while being held on custom stages that look like Waluigi. Fans could then say the Smash Bros. roster is officially complete.
3 Shouldn't: He Will be the Bane of🐼 Opponents' ꦐLives
With Waluigi's apparent over powered-ness he would give those who chos♒e different characters serious trouble, m𝄹uch like the MetaKnight controversy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He would be the lead character for the top Smash players in the world because they would understand his secret moves and power strikes to win matches. His moves might include many invincibility barriers when he makes a movement, everyone knows that's something Nintendo can't control form him.
2 Should: They Will Sell Millions of More 💝Copies
Waluigi is internet famous, his inclusion would be a great victory for millions over the internet. It would lead to a dramatic increase in publicity and sales the likes Super Smash Bros. has never known before. Not any included character from any series can draw more people than Waluigi can, those disenfranchised with the series will come running. Those disenfranchised💖 with life, in general, will pick up on the aura that comes from the success of Waluigi and follow the scent straight to the game and be given hope again.
1 Shouldn't: He's Already an Assist Trophy ꦛ
While there are benefits to Waluigi being an assist trophy, there has never been a character that has both been an assist trophy and a fighter character at the same time. This could be one of the big Barriers to getting Waluigi into Smash Ultimate but having Waluigi getting a Waluigi assist trophy wouldn't be the weirdest scenario in Super Smash Bros.
