With every industry facing some kind of hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic, it should come as no surprise that the upcoming DLC fighters for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate may be facin🍸g a delay. In a recent interview with Famitsu magazine (translated by PushDustIn on Twitter), game director Masahiro Sakurai all but confirmed that the next expan✅sion pass will be seeing a delay.

The main barrier for Saꦚkurai, currently, is that travel outside of Japan has been halted. Since he can't meet with an unnamed overseas publisher, this holdup🃏 could set plans back. Sakurai also mentions that if anyone at Sora LTD. were to test positive for COVID-19, the entire studio would be shut down and that would indefinitely delay the DLC.

This news might be disappointing, but what is more important is that everyone at Sora remains safe. If the entire season needs to be delayed to accommodate a single character, then delay the season. No one should be potentially getting sick just to make an expansion for a game. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the most successful tꦗitles ever released, so fans are clearly smitten with what's currently available.

On a more positive note, Sakurai's mention of meeting with a publisher overseas could be pointing to a potential western character for Smash. Fans have been speculating about Crash Bandicoot, so maybe he's on the cards. There's really any number of ways that quote can be interpreted, though, so take this suggestio🍸n wi๊th a grain of salt.

What should be noted is Sakurai's dedication to his craft. In the past, he's spoken about going to the hospital during development and falling asleep at his desk. I wouldn't necessarily say that is admirable, but Sakurai clearly loves Smash. Him putting out a message like this to fans just further drives home how ꦬmuch he wan🅰ts to make people happy.

Mostly, I just hope that Sakurai is happy during all of this. He and his team deserve to take a break for the hard work𝓰 they've done over the years. If this DLC does end up delayed, at least they'll all have the chance to t🃏ake some time off.
