Nintendo is keeping the nostalgia flowing with the next 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate spirits event. Similar to last year's Resident Evil event, this next limited-time spirit sighting will characters from the popular Kunio-Kun/River City Ransom series. Players will be able to collect Kunio, Riki, and a few of the bosses from the NES title to use throughout Smash Ultimate's campaign and spirit battles.
The event will be running from January 24 to January 28. To acquire these spirits, players will need to head to the spirit board and battle them. You can use items to clear out the current selection of spirits if none of the River City characters appear. Sinc🍸e there are only four spirits, it shouldn't take too lon💫g to nab them all.
What's interesting is that River City Ransom has zero representation in Smash Ultimate. The same could be said for Resident Evil, but Capcom has characters from both Mega-Man and Street Fighter in Ultimate's roster. Arc System Works, current holders of the Kunio-Kun license, does not. This event likely doesn't preclude some announcement of new characters, but it's fun to ponder about what is next for Smash.
In the lead up to Smash Ultimate's release, spirits sounded like an exciting way to stay invested in Nintendo's🌳 fighter. Offering representation for characters that couldn't make it in as fighters, it felt like a big honor to be includꩲed as a mere sticker. The reality, though, is that crafting ideas for which characters to use was more fun than actually battling them.
Smash Ultimate is still an excellent game, buওt it does feel lacking with regards to single-player content. Little events like this are a fun way to revisit the game, but they don't really pay tribute to these various different games in the best possible manner. Why not go full out with a whole collection of spirits instead of just four?
Any representation is better than none at all, so this is still a cool honor. It's also definitely nostalgia-laden, especially with River City Ransom on Nintendo's NES application. Once you nab all the spirits, why not boo✃t up that emul𒊎ator and get to smacking thugs around?
