Grounded likes to play up the wonder a൲nd magic of being🌠 a tiny person in a bug’s world, but there’s a dark side to this game that players really ought to prepare themselves for.
We got our first look at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Grounded, the new survival game from Obsidian, a few months ago. The game has a certain Honey I Shrunk The Kids vibe since that's basically the plot: youꦇ're a shrunken down kid that has to survive and figure out a way of turning yourself back to normal.
The survival elements play center stage in Grounded. You have to search for food and water and building materials to make yourself ♍a tiny fortress to defend yourself from the dangerous denizens of the backyard. And t💫here are a lot of them out there.
recently got to play a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:30-minute test demo of the game to see how it plays, and while the biggest take away was "it feels like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ARK: Survival Evolved without the jank," there were some parts that seemed way more like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Subnautica than ARK.
For starters, there's beauty to be found in this tiny world. Blades of grass, pebbles, and evಌen circ🐼uit boards become these complex and gorgeous environments when you're shrunk down to the size of an ant. Lighting is key to making this world really stand out, with beams of sunlight coming through the grassy forest giving everything a bit of sparkle.
But then the sun goes down and this magical world turns into a den of terror. Just like what happens in Subnautica when you dive deep enough to encounter enormous and hungry creatures, Grounded’s most dangerous insects come out in search of prey when it gets dark. The wolf spider in particular i♌s a deadly and horrifying foe thanks to its cat-like eyes that glow in🎃 the dark.
And to top it off, there’s dynamic music to make thin⭕gs even more tense once y☂ou’re being stalked by a spider.
Grounded arrives on July 28, but you can pla♏y the 30-minute demo no𓆏w.
