Looks like fans will have to wa꧒it a little while longer to get their hands on Swery's The Good Life. The open-world RPG has not only been delayed from Summer to Fall of this year, but publishing has shifted hands from The Irregular Corporation to Playism.
Back in November of last year, The Irregular Corporation announced that it would be🔥 handling pu𝓀blishing duties on the cute RPG and that a Summer 2021 release was anticipated. The Irregular Corporation is known for its more eccentric titles like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Murder By Numbers and PC Building Simulator so this partnership with Swery, who is most-known for his popular Dead🌳ly Premonition games, seemed like a good fit.
However, it looks like indie publisher Playism will now be handling Swery's upcoming title. While no reason for the change of publishers has been given, the game is still in great hands with the folks at Playism. The publisher is known for attracting independent developers as it offers services like localization, marketing, and publishing for developers interested in releasing games to foreign markets. The publisher has helped release popular titles like Angels of Death, The Case Book of Arne, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight.
The upcoming The Good Life seems like a change of pace from what Swery usually produces. The open-world RPG follows struggling journalist Naomi Hayward as she takes a job🤡 from a local newspaper to uncover "the mystery of a small English town". This leads her far away from her life in New York to a small town known as Rainy Woods where every resident is hiding a secret. As she delves into the mystery of this place, she discovers that the people transform into cats and dogs as night falls. If that wasn't enough, Naomi is soon wrapped up in solving a murder.
Players will be able to transform Naomi herself into a cat or dog to help solve the mysteries of Rainy Woods. Utilizing the agil♐ity of a cat and the keen senses of a dog, Naomi will use all of her skills as a journalist to solve the case, whileꦓ also working to pay off her debts and building a new life in the small town.
The Good Life will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Ni💮ntendo Switch, and PC (Steam) la💦ter this Fall. It will cost $29.99.
