Bandai Namco has recently updated Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris the most recent video game based on the popular light novel and anime series of the same name. The update, entitled Version 1.03, has added new content, including a brand new character ಞwho might be familiar to fan🌳s of J-Pop music.
ReoNa is a popular Japanese singer who sings the opening "Anima" for the currently airing fourth season of the Sword Art Online anime, entitled Alicization War of the Underworld. She also sings the Alicization Lycoris' opening song "Scar/et." Beyond lending her awesome vocals to the Sword Art Online franchise, she's also contributing her swor꧂d skills by joining Kirito's harem as a brand new playable character in the video game.
Her character avatar has short purple hair with long bangs, with a braid on her right side. She also wears dark black armor and✨ a black choker. Judging by this photo of her, it seems like the developers did a pretty accurate job translating her real-life appearance into a video game avatar!
In order for players to unlock her character, they must complete the aptly named side quest "Singer From Another World." Upon successful completion of this 𝓡quest, ReoNa will introduce herself to Kirito as "someone who came from very far away" and join his party. She is also an "Adventurer" character, meaning that players can find her roaming around town and recruit her for as an Adventurer.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is completely voiced with returning Japanese voice actors from the anime series; and ReoNa has just become the newest cast member, as her character is also fully voiced by hers𒉰e♍lf.
Bandai Namco announced that the update went live on July 27, meaning that anyone who already owns the game should be able to downlo♕ad and access ReoNa now. In addition to adding ReoNa, the update also fixed some camera controls. A bigger upda🐎te that fixes more technical issues will drop in August.
