Bandai Namco shared the details of Alicization Lycoris' firsౠt upda🌊te, dubbed Update Version 1.04, in a recent live stream. According to the company, the update will shorten loading times. Since the game's launch, players have complained regarding the long loading times that occur when traveling to different areas, changing from a cutscene to a different scene, and more.
The update is also focusꦜing on improving graphics, which was another popular complaint. According to Bandai Namco, the update will change the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions to run at 30fps.
Finally, the last big update will include adding more save options for players. In the game, players can only save once they happen upon a checkpoi๊nt-like marker in the map, which are each placed sporadically throughout the game. As such, there is usually no way to manually save at any point in the game. Bandai Namco has said they will be implementing quick save options that will easily allow players to go back a few moꦫments when working on the main questline, as well as go to the beginning of a battle.
The developers also mentioned potentially adding what they call "subsections"ไ to the chapter save d꧑ata, though this will not be a part of the upcoming 1.04 update. It could, however, be implemented in the future.
🦩Beyond those three major edits, the update will also add some other minor non-specific adjustments and improve the use of functions.
Update Version 1.04 will be r♔eleased in two waves. The first will be in early August, while the second will be at the end of the month. It appears bౠoth waves will update the same features.
