The fate of the south depends on your choices.

One such curse-afflicted person is Berach, a man who wants to be a knight, but whose luಌck has run out and been cursed by someone to be trapped beneath a bridge, lest he meet his end – or is he? Whatever the case, he's stuck where he is and could use a kind soul to escape the confin⛎es of the bridge and help him.

Berach can be found beneath a broken section of bridge that's directly northwest of the Archspire fast travel point in the center of the Horns Of The South, and he gives the Age of Excuses side quest.

Speak with him, and he'll tell you about the curse inflicted upon him, but you can agree to help him out, starting the quest. First, head back to the Horns Of The South Keep. Head back to the room found left of Fearghas' working area and talk with the local healer, Jann.

He'll have a new dialogue option relating to the Age of Excuses, and give you a hint about whom to talk to next. Next, you'll need to speak to a hermit named Drest, and he can be found on the shore of the beach directly beneath the keep.

If you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:speak with Keeper Dan, you can start the misc quest Investigate The Shore, which will lead you directly to Drest's location, and give you some EXP for completing it.

From the village behind the keep, go south down to the southwestern corner of the map, then follow the shoreline east past some partially submerged ruins, and you'll find Drest in an alcove beneath the keep.

Speak with him about the curse, and he'll give you the recipe for a Disgusting Health Potion to give Berach for his curse, and it can be crafted at an Alchemy Table with five Sage, two 🔯Whiskey, and one Grindylow Claw𒁏.

Once you have the Disgusting Health Potion, head back to Berach and speak with him about the curse. You'll have two dialogue options: perform the ritual on him with the potion, or you can tell him that there isn't a curse.

  • If you tell Berach that there isn't a curse, this will enrage him and force you into a fight with him, ending in his death, and the side quest will fail after he's dead. He only drops the basic loot you'd find on a sword-wielding Outlaw, so it isn't worth it to kill him.

Select the option to perform the ritual on Berach instead, and he'll thank you for your help. As a reward, you'll get 300 EXP for completing the quest, an additional 150 EXP in general, and a Soulstone, which is a special type of amulet that, when fully charged by killing enemies, will heal your health and mana fully.
