However, some of these dungeons aren't optional as you pursue the pieces of King Arthur's soul. Diving into the Abyss of Sagremor means facing the unpleasant tr꧑uths about the world and what power does to those who fear losing it. We'll help you find and assist Claire, the queen's sister, so you can get one step closer 🐠to learning the truth.
Where To Find Claire
After obtaining the key to Claire's quarters, head up the stairs in the passage to the left. Once you arrive in the banquet hall, slay the spirits of the aristocrats and servants, then make your way to the door on the other side of the tables.
Use the key to unlock the door, revealing a massive book waiting for you. Loot the chests here for some ingredients before interacting with the book. You'll be transported to the keep where Claire hides herself.
Take the lift up to her chambers, where you'll find her scribbling away at the letters on her desk. Talking to her proves difficult, but you can ꦉhe🍃lp her in another way.
How To Help Claire
To help Claire, approach the pile of books and letters by her bedroom door. Interact with them to enter a world of her own fantasy, within 🌳the pages of her letters and love stories.
Once inside, you'll need to help her defeat each incarnation of her lover, Bors. He's holding her mind captive in the lette👍rs, and she cannot ♚focus on anything else but her obsession with him.
There are three🌼 versions of him to fight, all with a di🍸fferent background.
Ardent Lover Boss Fight
The first you'll come across is the Ardent Lover in the farm fields. Interact with the inky black book to transport yourself into the fields with Bors. This variant isn't very strong, as he's a farmhand, but don't let your guard down.
Use the arena to your advantage and dodge his attacks while striking him in the back. Once he's down𒉰, you can leave the area and purs🌊ue the next copy of Bors.
Valiant Knight Boss Fight
Head up along the path away from the farm to find another black book. Interact with it to find the valiant knight variant, where Bors is well-armored and wielding a two-handed claymore.
While his movements are slower here, he hits much harder. Carefully time your dodges and use ranged attacks to stagger him. When he falls, you can collect his blade and leave.
It's a standard two-handed weapon without any enchantments, but it is named, making it unique.
Minstrel Of Dreams Boss Fight
Finally, head to the overlook to find the last of the black books. Inside is the Minstrel of Dreams. He's the least armored of the variants, but uses the Burning Ember spell to attack.
While the spell isn't particularly powerful, the lighting within the dream makes it almost impossible to see unless you know to look for it. You can easily catch on fire without warning, so watch Bors' movements closely and time your attacks to stop him from throwing fire bal�♓�ls.
Once he's defeated, backtrack down the road to a new black book that appears. This will return you to Claire's quarters, where you can finally speak with her. She's more or less herself, though 🀅she won't stop writing about Bors. However, she realizes now that she just wanted someone to love her like the kin✱g loved the queen.
The quest concludes, and you can leave the tower the way you came, returning to the Abyss of King Sagremor and the castle within.
