How To Start The Lingering Bonds Quest
The Lingering Bonds is a secret quest that you can undertake, and it requires you to traverse all the way northeast of the map toward the All-Mother's Temple fast travel point.
From that point, make your way slightly west and climb the hill, and you should be able to find a skeleton sitting at the edge, bu🌸t when you approach you, you can't interact with it.
This is why you need to set a bonfire and skip time until the night.
Doing so will allow you to interact with the skeleton, and it will reveal itself as a ghost.
Engage with the conversation with him, and the ghost will reveal that he is the father of Fearghas and will entrust you with a ring that he wants you to deliver to his son, Fearghas.
How To Complete The Lingering Bonds Quest
Now make your way back to the main city, and just north you should find Fearghas sitting at his outdoor office. Speak to him about the ring that you have.
During the conversation, you have the option to either tell him the truth that you met his father or say that you found it on a skeleton and lie. However, this cho⭕ice does not affect the outcome of t🍌he question.
If you tell him the truth, he will not believe you at first, and he will ask you a few questions about his father t🎉o learn morꦐe.
At the end of the conversation, he will still not believe you entirely, but he will appreciate you getting his family ring to him, and this will complete the quest.
