Once you've chosen how to answer him, he'll eventually mention Jann Heber, who told him he needs to have his tooth removed.

Ultimately, all Lanzo wants is his remedy, and he doesn't want ൲his tooth extracted. You have to go along with this to begin the quest.

Offer to speak to Jann on Lanzo's behalf, who you'll find inside his aptly-named quarters directly beside Lanzo. Once you do, you'll receive the Pain Relief quest.

How To Brew The Toothache Remedy

Speak to Jann and select the top option in orange that mentions Lanzo's toothache. Janꦡn lets you know that the only cure is for Lanzo to have his tooth extracted, and nothing else can be done.

However, ask Jann about a remedy for Lanzo to continue the quest. He'll mention that he confiscated the recipe – ask him more about it, then ♓ask what kinds of ing💮redients are included.

Jann then accidentally mentions the t🌼hree ingrediܫents to you:

• Five Carnations
• One Moonshine
• Three sprigs of Sage

Finishing this conversation will unlock the toothache recipe for Keeper Lanzo.

Luckily, although he doe꧂sn't want to help you directly, Jann Heber has the exact ingredients you need to brew the remedy. The price of each item is ♌as follows:

• Wolfsbane & Carnations – four coins each
• Spirit – 20 coins each

Alternatively, you can also search around for these items. Carnations are available from around the large tree adjacent to the central area of the stronghold, while you'll find sage in a crate near Jann's Quarters and ale scattered throughout the world in barrels.
