168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tales of Symphonia Remastered is filled to the brim with incredible characters and world-building, allowing you to easily get lost in its story and get attached to everyone in your party from start to finish. One of the best ways to learn more about your party members and the world at large is via the game's Affection system.

While Affection is an invisible Stat, it is a rather crucial one, as it can dictate who joins your party, what happens in specific scenes, and who is deemed Lloyd's "Soulmate" by the end of the journey. To raise a member's Affection, you will have to seek out the many Skits found throughout the world and make certain decisions in key moments of your adventure.

Affection Guide

As already mentioned, Affection is an invisible Stat that gradually moves up and down throughout your journey depending on specific choices you make, influencing what each party member thinks of you. While this doesn't affect gameplay much, the one area where it becomes crucial is recruiting party members, specifically, having Kratos rejoin your party. Affection also impacts whether or not Sheena joins your party when you arrive in Luin or waits until a bit later when you reach the Asgard Human Ranch.

Additionally, at the start of your journey, Colette will have +500 Affection toward Lloyd from the jump, while everyone else will have an Affection rating of zero. You can also bring your Affection rating over to New Game Plus by purchasing the "Affection" option at the Grade Shop for x10 Grade. This will copy all party members' Affection over to your NG+ save, allowing you to continue where you left off.

Sheena Affection

To get Sheena to join your party in Luin, she must have enough Affection to be placed in your top three. When you first meet her and save her from the debris, she will automatically receive +180 Affection toward Lloyd. This will determine if she joins your party or not at this moment. If +180 Affection surpasses anyone in your top three, she will join on the spot. If not, she will run off but eventually join your party later in the story.

Kratos Affection

Kratos, on the other hand, is a bit trickier. He will leave your party during the game's story and can only be recruited at the very end of the game when you are in Flanoir. While Affection didn't use to play a part in getting him back in your party in the original GameCube version, it was added as a mandatory prerequisite in all later versions, including this Remaster. You must accumulate enough Affection with him when he's in your party to get him back. Then you will have to follow specific steps when you are in Flanoir.

While staying at the hotel in Flanoir, three people will knock on your door at night. If you ignore all three, you will be greeted by Kratos at your window, where he will then join your party. If his Affection is not high enough, you will not be able to turn away the third guest at your door. However, be warned, having Kratos rejoin your party will cause Zelos to leave permanently...

To get Kratos on your side before he departs, simply pick the more cynical answers to things and constantly side with him over Zelos. Building his Affection isn't too difficult once you find out his personality and what he resonates with response-wise.

Skits

Lloyd and Genis talking during one another during a Skit in Tales of Symphonia Remastered

Overall, Affection is crucial in the game's early going and becomes something you can choose to focus on if you wish the more you progress. To influence a character's Affection, you will have to find Skits that randomly appear in the Overworld and Dungeons. Skits are short interactions between specific party members that have you select a response. Your response will directly influence your party member's Affection, having them gain Affection when answering c🌌orrectly.

While they won't lose any Affection if you answer incorrectly, Skits are non-repeatable, meaning if you miss out on gaining Affection from a Skit, you cannot retry the same Skit unti⛦l yoಞur New Game Plus playthrough. The table below displays how much Affection is earned by each party member when you answer a Skit correctly!

Cooking

In addition to Skits, Cooking also has a slight impact on Affection Gained by party members, with specific ingredients having characters gain or lose Affection. If they like the ingredients in a recipe, they will receive +1 Affection; if they dislike an ingredient, they will lose -1 Affection. The good news here is that it will always be -1 or +1, no matter how many ingredients are in the recipe they like or dislike. For example, if a recipe has three ingredients Genis likes, they will only get +1 to their Affection and vice versa. You can find what 𒁃everyone likes and dislikes in the table below!

Fortune Teller

The last noteworthy thing about Affection we'd like to point out has to deal with the Fortune Teller located in Triet. Here, you can find out who is currently your "Soulmate," also known as the character with the most Affection toward Lloyd. While the Fortune Teller will never outright tell you who your Soulmate is, she will give obvious hints at who it can be, allowing you to decipher their response to figure out who it is. Luckily for you, you can find all clues below and who they reference! - Please note that this is the Fortune Teller's response when you select "I dunno" as a response to her question.
