Xplored, the creators of the augmented reality 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:board game🃏 system , has announced a new partners👍hip with Ares Games for a new Sword & Sorcery game on the platform.
Sword & Sorcery is a miniature-driven fantasy cooperative boardgame that sees up to five players control "legendary characters brought back to life by powerful sorcery" as they attempt to defeat an enemy. Much like Teburu's World of Darkness partnership with Paradox, these likely won't be straight adaptations of the game. Meanwhile, Ares Games' director of production Roberto Di Meglio says using Teburu will allow Ares to "bring the [game] system to its full potential, allowing us to enhance gameplay beyond the limits of a purely physical game".
Teburu is a 'phygital' (physical and digital, if you're a fan of awful portmanteaus) that uses a smart a smartboard, RFID chipped miniatures, and a smart dice to relay physical game information to a smartphone or tablet that processes the game systems for you. Although Garofalo has said Ares was one of the first companies to approach Xplored about Teburu, it isn't the first partnership already lined up for the platform. As mentioned, a collaboration with Paradox on the World of Darkness series is already🃏 in the works, with Vampire: the Masqeurade – Milan Uprising, a Werewolf: The Apocalypse title, and a third, unannounced game curre♍ntly planned as part of a multi-year deal.
As for Xplored's own games, it is currently getting ready to launch Teburu's first game, The Bad Karmas and the Curse of the Zodiacs, in a on March 15. While the campaign is technically for the game itself and not Teburu, backers will be able to get the Teburu system itself for $200 as one of its reward tiers. A full, retail release date for Teburu, Sword & Sorcery, The Bad Karmas, nor Milan Uprising has yet been revealed.
