Tekken 8 gives you༒ a lot of things to do, from new stuff such as their Arcade Quest mode - an excellent way to learn the game, by the way - to old school things such as individual endings for each charact꧅er, in the mode now named Character Episodes.

These endings are not canonical - you have the Story Mode for canonical content - but they either give you more insight into the character you chose or, as is often the case, give you absurd and hilarious endings just for the laughs, as Tekken is a series that takes itself very seriously while simultaneously not taking itself serious at all. There's a balance there, and they found it.

Died From Debt

Let's start with an over-the-top one just to show you what to expect. The idea of most of these episodes is that the character is participating in The King Of The Iron Fist Tournament, and whoever wins becomes the leader of the company Mishima Zaibatsu.

Law is notorious in the series for having money issues and is participating for the money. We see his ending when he's finally rich, only to realize that he also inherited the company's debt from the war it started, and after seeing how much he had to pay, he literally dies.

Devil, Warmonger, And Sneakerhead

After winning the tournament, Kazuya is interviewed, talking about his goals, love life, and hobbies. Though he dismisses the first question, the second shows him lovingly addressing Jun Kazama - all things considered - saying he doesn't care about weak people, and she is strong.

As for hobbies, he shows his gigantic sneaker collection, with possibly thousands of sneakers stored there. That's a nod to the original Tekken manual, which stated that Kazuya had 'collecting sneakers' as a hobby since the first game.

8 🍸 Jun Kazama ꧃

The Day That Never Was

Not everything is silly and funny around here, though, and Jun's ending is a bit more somber. At first, she sees her romantic partner, Kazuya (probably the best way to address him), fighting with their son, Jin, but in a more playful manner.

Even with Kazuya being a bit pushy, they're all happy together. Then she wakes up alone, realizing that her family is still pretty broken, and the relationship between Kazuya and Jin is still quite unhealthy, to say the least.

7 Ling Xiaoyu 🌟

Feat Panda And... Claudio?

Love stories are just fun, and Xiaoyu has had feelings for Jin since we know the character. She participated in the tournament solely to use the company's assets to find him, and she does find him in her ending.

Panda pushes her to talk to him, almost hitting Claudio, who happened to be in there (for some reason),🧜 and as she tries tꩲo speak to Jin, Claudio even plays the wingman and uses his powers to make a heart in the sky.

Because Animals Can Be CEOs, Too

Speaking of Panda, she can become head of Mishima Zaibatsu if you play as her. She's entering just to increase Xiaoyu's chance of victory and find Jin, but Panda is still technically the leader if she wins.

She then proceeds to do an interview, telling about the amusement park she'll build with Xiaoyu leading it (a reference to her wanting to make her park in Tekken 3), and urges people to get in contact with her if anyone finds Jin - who appears in the live feed of NYC during the interview.

5 🍃 ๊ Brian Fury

Mad Brian: Fury Road

Though Kazuya and Jin weren't good leaders for the Zaibatsu, the world would hardly be a better place with Brian Fury as the leader. We get a small glimpse of his ambitions through his ending, using the company's assets just for fun.

We see many tanks and other war vehicles while they go to a shooting range and fire at everything they see. Well, at least he isn't using living beings for targets, so that's a victory for humankind.

4 🌼 Lars Alexandersson

War Propaganda And Romance

Lars is one of the key figures in the fight against G Corporation, as he's the leader of the rebel Tekken Force, Yggdrasil. Thus, he uses his new assets to make some propaganda to have people join Yggdrasil.

After shooting a commercial, we have a nice scene between him and Alisa, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:two characters w💫ho developed a clear romance, especially af꧑ter Tekken 6. Extra points to the excellent Lee Chaolan for making the scene more roma🌱ntic for them.

3 Alisa ღBosconovitch

Even More Romance

Even if Alisa wins the tournament, the romance continues. She enters it to increase Yggdrasil's chances of winning, and her final fight is ultimately against Lars, and after defeating him, she goes to check up on him.

The whole scene is pretty romantic, to the point Alisa starts getting nervous, having her head detached from her body by accident and exploding due to her situation. We don't know if Lars survives, but it's cute either way.

2 Jack-8

Copying Your Opponents May Not Be The Best Idea

Jack-8 purely entered the tournament to learn new battle techniques by analyzing the other fighters. Once he gathers all the data, he returns to Jane, his creator, so he can go by everyone's techniques.

The only issue is that one of the people he fought was Alisa Bosconvitch, whose key move was to remove her head to use as a bomb. J𒅌ack then proceeds to remove his head, causing an explosion.

1 🔜 Sergei Dragunov

What Assassins Do In Their Spare Time

Obtaining a company is nothing but a simple job for Dragunov, who does what he needs to do and just goes home after a job well done. He's a pretty mysterious character, but here we see him enjoying a hobby of his: toy tanks.

We see him building his newest achievement for his tank collection, only to see that the tanks got discontinued, and he won't be able to obtain the remaining parts. All is well, though, as he uses a toy of Mokujin to finish making the tank.
