Surprisingly for a fighting game in 2024, you won't start off Tekken 8 with all 32 of its playable characters unlocked in every single mode. How To Unlock Reina And Jun Kazama
When you start Tekken 8, you'll notice that any attempt to play as Reina and Jun Kazama in the Character Episode mode will result ✱in a message telling you that you need to progress further in the Darkness Awakens story mode in order to unlock them. This might have you thinking that each character is made available after a certain amount of chapters, but that isn't the c✃ase.
Both Jun and Reina will be unlocked once you complete all 15 chapters of The Darkness Awakens, which should take you around four hours of playtime if you're watching all of the cutscenes. If you're not fussed aꦚbout Tekken's story (which you should be, it's awesome), then you can probably cut that down to just an hour or two by only playing the matches.
Once you've completed the main story mode of Tekken 8, not only will you get a ton of Fight Money and some unique costumes for Jin and Kazuya, but you'll also get a message saying that you can now play as Reina and Jun. From that point on, you can choose to play as either of the two characters in Tekken 8's Character Episodes.
