Temtem has set a strong base 🗹for itself but it still has a long way to go.

It is hard to judge a game in Early Access because by definition it isn’t going to be the polished experience you might want. But that also means there's time make changes. Temtem hit the ground running like it 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:took Pokémon’s lunch. Developer C🐼rema quickly fixed its servers to support its rapidly-growing player base and let tamers everywhere experience♊ what the game currently has to offer.

We Will Not Be Silenced!

Now that time has passed and many players have reached the end of what is available we can see what shines and what could use work. Temtem’s world feels alive and constantly moving because there are always other tamers running around or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rummaging through trash with you. But below that lively surface, there isn’t much going on. A major issue is the lack of social features. Currently there is no way to communicate with your fellow tamers outside of four emotes that don’t communicate any useful information. While there is an active Discord server for Temtem, there is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:no way in game to ask for help or try team up with a stranger. Even the process of teaming up with someo🌟ne for co-op play requires you to search through your menu even if they are right in front of you.

Co-Op Confusion

Speaking of co-op play, that’s another feature that could use an overhaul. Playing with a friend is fun, but it comes with a handful of downsides as well. Leveling your Temtem becomes slower since each player only has one out. The Coward’s Cloak item can help with that but you still feel the effects. More importantly if you and your partner both try to catch the same Temtem your cards collide midair which waste𓃲s them both for you. This can be amusing at first bu🌊t if a Luma Temtem were to appear (Temtem’s version of “Shiny” Pokémon), a serious fight might be had. If you are playing with a stranger you likely have no way to determine who should get the coveted Luma and will throw cards at each other until one of you runs out or the target knocks itself out. Aside from enjoying the story with a friend there really isn’t much to do cooperatively.

More Endgame Please

This leads into a worry over meaningful endgame content. Crema wants Temtem’s endgame to focus a lot around competitive PvP, but if there isn’t other things to do on a daily basis then repetitive battles against the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:same teams of Temtem will likely get stale. There are promises of endgame PVE content as well but the only examples currently in game are hunting for Luma Temtem, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:breeding for a Te♒mtem with perfect stats, and the somewhat limited selection of cosmetic itemsꦅ. All of these are things you can only really do by yourself.

The MMO Should Be More Massive

Temtem is supposed to be a MMO, and while it looks like one it doesn’t quite feel that way yet. It is missing the elements of MMO games that bring people together. There is an inactive “Club” button in game already but no details on its implementation or if there will be any activities to take part in with your clubmates. Temtem would benefit greatly from having a unique take on raid battles or any other activity that brought players together to 🐻participate in a group larger than one or two.

Doesn't Feel Like Home Yet

On the topic of bringing players together, housing is a highly anticipated feature being brought to Temtem. In its early form it looks like you will be able to purchase and decorate your own house that you could sౠubsequently invite your friends over to for a hangout. While being able to customize your own bedroom looks like fun, it is another thing you essentially have to do alone. Over time it would be nice to see the housing system grown and offer some kind of benefit to the game itself instead of being just a trophy room.

The Temtem train is full steam ahead right now and we can only hope it can keep this momentum going for the long run. It is going to take a lot of work and a passionate community supporting it, but Temtem is setting a good foundation to truly become the MMO Monster-Colleওction game the world has been yearning for.
