Die At Least Five Times

The first thing you'll want to do is collect tombstones. To do so, you will need to purposefully kill yourself at least five time times, and then gather the tombstones up in your inventory.

You don't have to die in the exact spot you want your graveyard, you can manually move the tombstones and create a fake one. It's also possible to make a graveyard biome above ground, in the air. If you were to make a floating Graveyard, the ground beneath it would still take on the same effect.

If you are playing with the Calamity mod, then the number of tombstones required is increased to 20.

Place The Tombstones Together

Now, you just need to place the tombstones! Overall, they should be relatively close together, similar to a Graveyard in real life.

Once at least five tombstones are placed, the surrounding area will fog up and become lifeless. The misty look of the Graveyard will intensify when you add more tombstones. If your graveyard is not coming to life, be sure there are no sunflowers nearby. Each sunflower undoes the effect of one gravestone.

What Is Ecto Mist?

via debrijjaYT/Reddit

The Graveyard is the only location where you can find Ecto Mist. This is a unique effect that will affect crafting. Rather than collecting Ecto Mist directly, it will cover items in the Graveyard.

When using a Work Bench in Ecto Mist, you will have the option to turn 'normal' blocks into wall versions that cannot don't drop any blocks when destroyed. Ma♛ny of these blocks will also take on a spookier appearance.

For example, Ecto Mist around a Work Bencꦆh will give you the option to turn a Snow Block into a Snow Wall.

In🐼 addition to making walls, you can make the following items with Ecto Mist nearby.
