Not all of these items are really worth the number of coins but Terraria is a game designed for co🅘llectors and hoarders. At some point, you might just want to have every single item. Here are the 10 most expensive items in the game.

Updated September 8th, 2021 by Russ Boswell: Terraria has seen its "final update" but it's still more relevant than ever in 2021. Dedicated players find themselves logging in every day to continue exploring their worlds or constantly find themselves starting new ones. Even now, new players are finding their way to Terraria for the first time, and it can be downright overwhelming for anyone seeing the Indie hit in scale for the first time. There are so many things to see, do, and most importantly, buy! But what are the most expensive items in Terraria and how much will they set players back? To help new (and returning) fans get a better grip on the rarest items in Terraria, the following list has been updated with even more entries.

15 ๊ Mushr🙈oom Spear - 70 Gold Coins

Terraria Mushroom Spear and Expense Splash

A lot of the expensive items in Terraria are there just for show, offering up neat particle effects or summoning precious pets. There are some weapons, however, that cost quite a bit of cash because they're downright devastating. The Mushroom Spear is a great example of this, doing the third-most damage of any spear in the game and summoning a small horde of mushroom minions that hang in the air when used.

To get this powerful spear, players will need to coax out the Truffle NPC. They'll be able to purchase it from the creature for 70 gold coins after any of the Mechanical bosses have been defeated.

14 ൲ Leaf Wings - 75 Gold Coins

Terraria Leaf Wings and Expense Splash

Wings are some of the most sought-after items in Terraria. They look amazing, are great for movement, and can help players battle some of the toughest foes. They aren't just a fashion statement, they're completely necessary. With so many to choose from, it can be difficult to decide which wings a player wants to use.

Those with some extra pocket change can snag some nature-ins𒅌pired Leaf Wings for 75 gold coins. These green beauties can be purchase from the Witch Doctor only in Hardmode and only when the NPC is in the Jungle at Night.

13 ♛ Celebration - 80 Gold Coins 🃏

Terraria Celebration and Expense Splash

There are a lot of unique weapons to collect in Terraria but only one of them turns combat into a dazzling display of color and gunpowder. The Celebration is a launcher that uses fireworks for ammo, switching between multiple colors and lighting up the surrounding area in a truly spectacular display when rockets contac💎t enemies.

The 80 gold price tag is nothing to scoff at but players should be fairly wealthy by the time they're able to buy this entertaining weapon. It's sold by the Party Girl but only after the Golem has been defeated. It's a long road to gaining the Celebration but well worth it for those that love fireworks.

12 Glass Slipper - One Platinum Coin 💟🦄

Terraria Glass Slippers and Expense Splash

There are a lot of cool "vanity" items to be found in Terraria. These items don't have stats and are worn over armor, changing the appearance of items and characters. Some of the vanity items look pretty cool but there's a handful that come packaged with really neat effects.

The Glass Slippers will cause players to leave little sparkling trails behind them as they walk around. Those that want the extra visual pep in their step can grab them at any time for 1 Platinum from the Princess. She's an NPC that only shows up after Plantera has been defeated and all other town residents (besides Santa Claus and pets) are present.

11 Royal Scepter - One Platinum Coin 😼 📖

Terraria Royal Scepter and Expense Splash

It makes sense that🐈 some of the most expensive items in all of Terraria would come from royalty. Players will need to return to the Princess once again if they want to get their hands on the regal-looking Royal Scepter.

This lavish item does absolutely nothing aside from "sit within the players' hands" (it will float for anyone with a weapon equipped). There are no effects, no power-ups, and no projectiles that come from the Royal Scepter. It's the ultimate status symbol, showcasing just how much money a player has amassed. Those with extra heavy pockets, and nothing else to buy, might as well snag this vanity item too.

10 The Autohammer - One 𒁏Platinum Coin 🐬

terraria autohammer

The Autohammer is one of those items you'll need to purchase at some point, as it allows the player to craft Shroomite Bars (168澳洲幸运🌳5🐷开奖网:used to make some of the best armor in the game) and the Mini Nuke weapon.

This hard mode crafting station is available from the Truffle NPC (here's our guide on how to get the Truffle to move in) for one platinum coin. It can only be purchased after Plantera has been defeated.

terraria exotic chew toy

The Exotic Chew Toy summons a cute Fennec Fox pet that follows the player. Its tooltip reads "It squeaks at glorious 96kHz" which is a reference to the song What Does The Fox Say? that took the world by storm back in 2013.

You can pick it up from the Traveling Merchant every now and then. If you're missing a rare item, just check back, and make sure you've got enough coins to pay the price.

6 Tiki Totem - Two Platinum Coins ꦦ

terraria tiki totem

The Tiki Totem is a hard mode item that summons a floating Tiki Spirit head that flies behind the player. It won't teleport straight to you when you're far away and instead floats through walls (and whatever else) to get to you.

You can only purchase the Tiki Totem from the Witch Doctor NPC, and only when he's in a Jungle home. The item costs two platinum coins, so this is the third most expensive pet in the game.
