A Tesla fan has started a petition to get the Cybertruck into Rocket League, because of course they did.
We gotta admit, this isn’t really the way we figured the 20-teens would end📖. Nuclear apocalypse? Sure. Civil unrest and global upheaval? Absolutely. But a boxy-lookin’ electric pickup from an eccentric billionaire? Didn’t see it coming.
And yet, here we are. The Tesla Cybertruck is now a thing that cannot be ig✃nored. Memes surrounding the electric pickup that looks like it belongs in a bad ‘9💫0s GTA clone have popped up everywhere, and even the world of gaming isn’t safe from the onslaught.
One Tesla fan has even to get the Cybertruck added to the world’s largest car-based video game, Rocket League.
Nikki Luzader started the petition on Saturday, November 30th, and less than 24-hours later it’s alre♔ady surpassed 1,500 signatures.
"Our great and generous Elon Musk has bestowed upon us a revolutionary vehicle whose♏ beauty, power, and elegance is unsﷺurpassed,” reads the petition. “Now my fellow gamers, we must fight for what is most undoubtedly meant for us to play with, because let's face it, most of us will never be able to afford one.”
Nikki isn’t wrong - even the base-model Cybertruck is expected to start at $40,000, while more expensive versions with better range and performance will cost well over $70,000. But a Rocket League DLC pack would be vastly le𒁏♚ss expensive. At least, we hope it would be.
