Coupled with the highest Proficiency stat in the game, Connie is very technically minded, being able to collect items and interact with objects at a faster and quieter pace than her fellow Victims. This is emphasized by her trademark Focus ability, which lets her pick locks almost instantly. She also boasts a solid Endurance stat for quick escapes when ne🔯eded.
Despite everything Connie brings to the table, there are a few things that hold her back. Overall, she's on the weaker side when it comes to physical traits. Her Toughness stat is below average making her vulnerable to fast death at the hands 🧔of Leatherface or other family members.
Her worst stat is Strength, which is unfortunate considering that her other stats make her a perfect candidate for sneak attacks. As it stands now, Connie should avoid trying to attack Family and odds will be stacked against her while grappling with them.
How To Play Connie
Connie is a character meant to be played cautiously but ambitiously. With the starting loadout Skills, you can have Connie quickly identify Tools and Doors to plan an efficient route out of the basement.
When she reaches a basement door with a tool in hand, this is a chance to use her Focus skill. Although it has the drawback of reducing stamina and proximity warnings, opening a basement door always triggers Grandpa to wake up and an unavoidable sound source so not much damage is done.
Due to her Proficiency, Connie should try to latch as many doors as she comes across to create more obstacles for the Family. However, you should be in clear communication with your fellow Victims so that your latches don't work against them. She should also take the lead in finding Exits s🅘ince they have a high chance to be locked and all of them have security measures that need to be disarmed first.
Because of her high Stealth, Connie is perfect for performing recon on the surface. She can move quickly and quietly between the bushes in order to get the lay of the land. This is not only helpful in spotting Exits, but also in finding Tools, Health items, and pointing out Grandpa for Victims that can do greater damage.
That being said, you should take extra caution if Johnny is on the Family team since he'll be able to track Connie via blood and footprints and so you should try to stay off the beaten path.
Connie Build
With her stats as they are, Connie is both an offensive and a support character. She's the former in terms of being able to get around quickly and the latter in being able to interact with elements efficiently.
With this in mind, you should build Connie in ways that capitalize on her strengths rather than trying to focus on fixing her weaknesses. If you do tಞhis, Connie can become a wel🌳l-rounded and essential team member.
