They shine so brightly, so uniquely, that nobody could even hope to approach their brilliance. That aura is a major component in giving history's greatest musicians their seemingly eternal appeal.

It's okay to move on to bigger and better things, but we all had to start somewhere, even if that somewhere was a crummy town in Colorado.
