No developer could have predicted that we'd be facing a pandemic in 2020 on a scale not seen in over 100 years. The coronavirus has shaken the very foundation of society to its core and has a ton of people penny pinching out of fear for their own survival. With comparatively little disposable income to go around, this recent announcement from Xaviant LLC about The Culling: Origins seems particularly gross.

Out of⛎ nowhere, the battle royale game that everyone hated is making its return to Xbox One. Launching on Th🦩ursday, May 14, the very existence of this game isn't what is so disgusting. The real miserable part is the monetization scheme attached to this reboot that no one asked for.

People like to moan and groan about how microtransactions are infesting the industry and I have to believe Xaviant created The Culling: Origins has some kind of parody of that. The base $6 price sounds incredibly generous, but it comes with an extreme caveat. You'll only be allowed to play one match per day unless you win. If you don't win (which is very possible in a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:battle royale), you'll need to shell ou🌺t extra money for additional match tokens.

I can't believe this is a real product, but here we go. You can nab three match tokens for $1, 10 for💞 $3, and 20 for $5. If you don't like spending individually, you can get a week of unlimiꦍted play for $2 or a month for $6. Somewhere out there, a venture capitalist is blushing in glee.

To cut The Culling: Origins some slack, 💃owners of the previous titles on Xbox One will be given this new installment for free...That's it, though. That's the only thing I'll give this title because otherwise, this is abhorrent. That anyone thought launching a game with such a gross money-making scheme was a good idea is beyond me, but I guess th🌸at's where we are right now.

If none of this has turned you off, then let Xaviant's own words do it♓. "You have to have a working monetization scheme to pay for everything," reads the official announcement. At least the company is being honest about how greedy this is.
