The planet of Fortuna III in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Cycle: Frontier is a pretty hostile place. There are wandering monsters of all sizes, some capable of pulveri♛zing you into the concrete before you’re able to pဣull the trigger. But if they don’t get you, then other eagle-eyed and heavily armed Prospectors will.

It’s a hard time for first-timers and it can take a couple of drops and a few hours to finally figure out the best way to kee🌠p yourself alive, especially running solo. To make that process easier and to keep you up and running once your drop pod hits 🏅the planet, here are the best PvE builds in The Cycle: Frontier.

10 🍸 The Low-Budget Packrat

The Cycle: Frontier - A Very Basic Prospectors Inventory

Replacing lost equipment can get pretty expensive, especially if you’re having a hard time getting a successful extraction. One build that’s been recommended by the Community is referred to as Ratting, and involves going in as a low-budget packrat that's easy on your 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Krypto Marks, which t💟hemselves are already hard enough to earn.

What that means is you take in the absolute bare minimum in weight, price, and storage. Some go in with even less than that, but for the purpose of this build it’s all about being lightweight and fast. It compliments a stealthy and slow approach and in the event that things go sideways it's not too costly to replace missing bits of gear. It's also worth getting suit upgrades, although they’re a little expensive it’s worth the investment if you can guarantee a productive run as it gives you a bit more storage space per Tier.

9 𒊎 The Deprived Kleptomaniac ♑

The Cycle: Frontier - A Prospector Having A Knife Fight With An Alien

For the lunatics among you, here's a little Fromsoft-inspired build that's similar to the Packrat, but with a much shorter life expectancy. So only adopt this if you're desperate, or want a fun churn and burn build if you've got extra gear to throw away.

It's a pretty easy one to make, and all it requires is a backpack. Any size will do, but if you can bring the biggest one you have then all the better. Ideally, you want as much space as possible and a high weight capacity to be able to carry whatever you can strip from the planet. To spice things up and offer a modicum of self-preservation, pack in decoy grenades as they create the sound of a shootout nearby that will draw potential pursuers away. Allowing your lightweight luggage fiend to escape.

8 ꦉ Bulldog Blaster 🍃

The Cycle: Frontier - Taking On A Creature With The Bulldog Handgun

It's no secret that the weapons in The Cycle: Frontier could do with a bit of balancing. A glance on any thread will show a few recurring themes, one particularly notably broken blaster is the Bulldog and it's something worth taking advantage of.

About two quick blasts from both bath barrels of this sci-fi shotgun revolver is enough to seriously maim if not outright 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:kill another Prospector. Perfect for keeping other players off your back as you explore. Plus, it's relatively quick reload speed and solid stopping power can keep most planetary pests at bay. Bring along some helpful attachments, green or purple armor, stims, and a lot of shotgun rounds and you should be fine.

7 The Hea⛦vy Duty Miner

The Cycle: Frontier - Clearing Ore With The Heavy Mining Tool

Strip mining the planet of its precious resources is a great way to earn a bounty of Krypto Marks or stock up on parts for crafting recipes. Whilst a normal run with a pickaxe can net you a nice handful of space rocks, it'll only get you so far and it's worth upping your game if you can.

One particular build that's good for those that like mining for shinies, here's what you need. The Heavy Mining Tool is a must have, next a scanner and the biggest backpack possible. Some purple armor or at least green is recommended, and a weapon is left up to your personal preference. Then just stick to the exterior of the map and rip up those lovely resources. For Bright Sands that's the northern Dig Site and Abandoned Mine, whilst for Crescent Falls the Southern end has a large deposit of Nickel nodes.

6 The Long Range Nightmare ♌

The Cycle: Frontier - The Karma 1 Sniper Rifle In Use

K💃eeping a safe distance between you and a threat is something you al🎃ways want to keep in mind. A lot of the monsters prowling around on the planet of Fortuna III can hit like a semi-truck and will follow you extremely far before leashing, if they ever do it at all. So being able to pop a shot and run away can keep you alive in some pretty tricky spots.

Long range is the name of the game, and there are a couple of different rifles worth trying depending on your budget. For example, there's the basic C-32. Or spend your cash on one of the scoped options from the Faction Leaders. Such as the Basilisk, Kinectic Arbiter, and the KBR Longshot which sit on some solid damage numbers. Worth noting is that the legendary Karma 1 is not worth if for this build. It's too expensive to build in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gear Fabricator and with the potential to permanently lose it, the time and money i🍌nvested into it would just be wasted.

5 𓆉 🐻 The Turtle

The Cycle: Frontier - High End Armor In The Gear Fabricator

If you're looking for pure protection, then there's some easy things you can do. It's all based on how the game calculates damage and it can be exploited quite easily. Basically, the damage is valued against rarity types.

So for example, lower tiers do less damage to higher, whilst in reverse exotic rated weapons do more damage. With so many players often running blue, green or common types, all you need is an exotic, or purple rated armor to negate their damage significantly. This also applies to the creatures running around down there on Fortuna III and it can make quite the difference, especially if you're facing off against Alpha class aliens.

4 Shattergun Snapshꦚot

The Cycle: Frontier - Prospector Using The Shattergun To Fend Off Aliens

The hides of some of the creeps crawling around on the planet are pretty tough and they can shrug off several magazines worth of rounds before going down. It can be pretty ❀tricky to find something strong enough to stop them, but the Shatter should be your first pick.

This little gadget from the I.C.A can chew through monsters like they're made of cardboard allowing brave Prospectors to harvest their organs free from harm. This plucky boomstick does a high amount of damage, is pretty cheap and it's recommended you enhance it with attachments that boost magazine size and damage to keep it well stocked and high scaling. Keep it front and centre when you're exploring and make sure it's ready to fire as mistiming a reload can mean the difference between rescued salvage and going home empty-handed.

3 🏅 Manticore Marauder

The Cycle: Frontier - The Manticore Assault Rifle

Until guns in The Cycle: Frontier get a much-nee🐷ded rebalance, the current strategy adopted by many is to bring along a Manticore. This flechette assault rifle is a solid all-rounder capable of blasting aliens into gooey chunks and shredding the shields of other Prospectors.

Available from the Osiris faction at Level Five. Relatively cheap, popular, and versatile, this sci-fi-looking piece of equipment has some solid stats, sporting 13 damage per🥀 tick, a sturdy magazine size of 24 rounds and a middling penetration score of 17. This plus some exotཧic armor should see you through any situation.

2 The Big G🃏ame Hunter 🍃

The Cycle: Frontier - Exploring The Planet With A Lot Of Weaponry

This loadout is a little more on the expensive side as it basically involves kitting your𝄹self out with as much firepower as possible. Preferably of the big and noisy variety.

Walking tall and carrying a loud boomstick comes with two benefits. For starters, it provides a variety of hard-hitting tactical options for dealing with aggressive Xenos. Plus, hearing all that firepower popping off will usually deter other players from coming too close as most are packing a basic loadout that strong weapons can blow apart effortlessly. Try to mix and match to suit your playstyle, but always make sure you're heavily armed.

1 The Stealthy Scarab Sting 𒁃

The Cycle: Frontier - Sneaking Around With The Scarab Pistol

Last but not least we have another powerful weapon for the pile, the Scarab. This little blaster is an absolute powerhouse of damage and with an extended mag clipped on it can deal with several problems per second. It's a popular choice for Prospectors and can see you through to some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:easy extractions if you're having a hard time.

Available from the Osiris Faction at Level One, its sudden sting of 38 base damage makes it perfect for stealth-oriented players looking to hit hard with ambushes whilst sneaking around the zones of Fortuna III. Its base stats are relatively low when compared to other options, but according to the Cycle: Frontier Community it's also a little busted. Which has resulted in it becoming the close quarter bane of many a poor Prospector. So pack one if you can, stick an attachment that focuses its three-burst spread, toss some decoy grenades then watch the disorientating and deadly chaos.
