Where To Find Vaermina's Shrine
To get to the shrine of Vaermina, you'll need to head southwest from Cheydinhal. The shrine is located next to the 'P' in 'Lake Poppad' on the map, which is near the northeastern shore of the lake.

In the Remastered version of the game, there is a trap door in the ruins that you can take to go directly to Arkved's quarters. The Staff of Corruption is a weapon that casts a spell that summons a clone of the target with the same stats. The clone will then attack the target until either the target or the clone dies. It's one of tꩵhe more interesting spells in the game, and you 🏅can get it quite early.
