When the Waking Flame DLC arrives later this month, The Elder Scrolls Online is going to look better than ever. Hot on the heels of the official Cons🌃ole Enhanced upgrades, Waking Flame is makin♛g further graphical improvements on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
As part of ESO's Waking Flame update, ZeniMax Online Studios will be enabling dynamic resolution scaling on current-gen consoles. Specifically, Xbox Series X and PS5 will scale between 1080p and 2160p while in performance mode and Xbox Series S will fluctuate between 1080p and 1440p. This means you should never experience frame rate drops and – when not in GPU demanding scenarios – you'll be able to experience Tamriel at increased resolutions.
ESO will also be adding a new HDR mode on consoles tha🅠t "very closely matches the look of ESO in SDR while taking advantage of the increased range." If 𒉰you’re a fan of its current look, however, you can toggle the visual effect with a new HDR Mode setting in the menu.
Meanwhile, PC users will finally🌳 see render threading improvements that arrived on current-gen consoles. ZeniMax said there will be a beta to test out the new settings, which should help "CPU limited" players experienc📖e improved frame rates.
Earlier this year, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players saw massive improvements to ESO in the form of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Console Enhanced update – bringing a Performance and Fidelity mode to the game. Both of these dramatically improved its graphics, offering an experience more in line with what you'll find over on PC.
It's great to see the team still pushing the new hardware as far as it'll go and breathing new life into the popular MMO from 2014. Elder Scrolls Online players can look forward to these changes when Waking Flame launches later this month.
