Elder Scrolls Online, also known as ESO, is one of the most popular MMORPGs in the world. It’s a great MMORPG for solo players due to the hundreds of incredible quests in the game, especially the main plot. The main story is full of twists and turns with likable protagonists and evil antagonists. This is how ♔it all unfolded.

The Setting Of Elder Scrolls Online

The Alliance War in Elder Scrolls Online

The game is set in the year 582 of the Second Era during The Interregnum, a time period when there was no emperor on the ruby throne. In an attempt to claim the ruby throne, the Alliance War broke out between three different alliances: the Ebonheart Pact, the Aldmeri Dominion, and the Daggerfall Covenant. These alliances are important for ♈the player vs player aspect of the game and are more of a background story to the main plot.

During this time, Tamriel was also going through the Planemeld. The Planemeld was a massive Daedric invasion that affected the entire universe, not just Tamriel. The Daedric prince Molag Bal was ꦡat the heart of the Planemeld and used his Dark Anchors to try and merge Coldharbour, his realm of Oblivion, with the rest of the world.

Along with Molag Bal, Mannimarco is the other antagonist of the main story. He's an agent of Molag Bal who founded the Order of the Black Worm, also known as the Worm Cult. To please the Daedric prince, Mannimarco and his Worm Cult would sacrifice people to Molag Bal, leaving them as soulless husks seeing out the rest of their days in Coldharbour.

Part One: The Prophet’s Vision

The Prophet, Varen Aquilarios, in Elder Scrolls Online

The player character is one of the many people sacrificed by Mannimarco's Worm Cult. The game begins with the player character as a prisoner in Coldharbour, when they get a vision of someone knowᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚn as the Prophet. This vision lets the player character know that there is something special about them. The Prophet refers to them as the Vestige.

The Vestige escapes their cell and, with the help of Lyris Titanborn and Cadwell, they reach the Prophet's cell. Lyris switches places with the Prophet in the cell, so he can be set free. Eventually, the Prophet and the Vestige meet up at t💖he Harborage where the Prophet shares a story.

The former emperor of Tamriel, Varen Aquilarios, wanted to become 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragonborn so he could light the Dragonfires in the Imperial City. That would have legitimized his claim to the ruby throne, as most emperors throughout history were also Dragonborn. Mannimarco said he could help the emperor, but would need the Amulet of Kings to do so, which led to the creation of the Five Companions.

The goal of the Five Companions was to retrieve the Amulet of Kings. The group was made up of Varen Aquilarios, Mannimarco, Lyris Titanborn, Sai Sahan, and Abnur Tharn. They succeeded in retrieving the amulet, but Mannimarco turned on them during the🍌 ritual and revealed he was an agent of Molag Bal. Thus, commencing the Planemeld. After the ritual, the Five Companions were separated and lost touch with each other.

Part Two: Reuniting The Five Companions

The Five Companions without Mannimarco (Abnur Tharn, Sai Sahan, Lyris Titanborn, Varen Aquilarios) in Elder Scrolls Online

It's now up to the Vestige and the Prophet to work together and reunite the Five Companions, excluding Mannimarco. The first order of business is rescuing Lyris, who switched places with the Prophet in his cell as it was the only way for the Prophet to escape Coldharbour🐲.

After successfully rescuing Lyris, the Prophet senses a Worm Cult presence in the area. The Vestige snoops around, eventually locating the Orb of Discourse which allows them to speak to Abnur Tharn. After the Prophet analyzes the orb, he believes he can use it to track down Sai Sahan. The thing is, he's going to have to rescue Abnur Tharn from Coldharbour to get to Sai Sahan. Tharn sided with Mannimarco after the ritual with the Amulet of Kings, so the Prophet and Lyris weren't his biggest fans.

Abnur claims he's a changed man with information on Sai Sahan's location, so the group has no choice but to believe him, since they need Sai Sahan to complete their quest. They travel to Coldharbour through a portal and eventually rescue Tharn. After returning to the Harborage, the Prophet reveals that he's the former emperor of Tamriel, Varen Aquilarios.

The group learns that Sai Sahan is also in Coldharbour, where he is being tortured until he gives up the location of the Amulet of Kings. After the Vestige and Abnur Tharn rescue Sai Sahan, they learn that the amulet is being held up in Sancre Tor. A few days of rest later, Sai Sahan and the rest of the group make their way to Sancre Tor. They retrieve the Ring of Stendarr's Mercy from the crypt and continue to make their way through the temple. Visions of Mannimarco constantly appear to wreak havoc on the group, but they press on.

The vision of Mannimarco reveals that he placed a spell on Sahan, so he knows exactly where he is at all times. The group eventually encounters the actual Mannimarco, who reveals his master plan. He plans to use the Amulet of Kings' power to trap Molag Bal, absorb his essence, and turn himself into a Daedric prince. It turns out that Molag Bal knew about this the whole time and the Daedric prince shows up to take Mannimarco's soul with him to Coldharbour.

After returning to the Harborage with the Amulet of Kings in hand, the Vestige becomes the official final member of the Five Companions, replacing Mannimarco. Tharn states that the Amulet of Kings could be used to free all the souls Molag Bal has stolen, including that of the Vestige's, but there's a catch. One of Varen, Lyris, or Sai would have to be sacrificed.

Part Three: Ending The Planemeld

The Vestige and Molag Bal in Elder Scrolls Online

The Vestige and Vanus Galerion, a mage of the Psijic Order, negotiate a treaty with the fighters and mages guilds of all three alliances to allow the guilds to fight together and end the Planemeld. It's now time to move into Coldharbour.

After entering Coldharbour, the Vestige finds themselves in the Hollow City, where they meet the Groundskeeper. She explains that the Daedric prince Meridia once went to war with Molag Bal. 💟She assembled her own army of Ayleids, a race of elves that ruled Tamriel in the First Era, led by King Dynar. Eventually, her army left the confines of the Hollow City, and they all met their doom except for King Dynar.

King Dynar was captured by Molag Bal and, after the Vestige gathers some guild fighters, they rescue King Dynar. After the loss of their commander, King Dynar steps up to become the leader of the Fighters Guild. Vanus was separated from the group and also got captured by Molag Bal. The Vestige rescues him and destroys the Black Forge and the Great Shackle powering the Dark Anchors and the Planemeld respectively. Sadly, it 🐻was too l🌟ate, as a Planar Vortex was created, speeding up the Planemeld significantly.

As the Vestige crosses the Chasm to reach the Planar Vortex, they learn that the Groundskeeper is actually the Daedric prince Meridia. Meridia and the group help fight back against Molag Bal and his Daedra, causing the collapse of the Planar Vortex. The Vestige wakes up in the Hollow City and learns that they closed the vortex, but it came at a cost. King Dynar has died. After hearing his dying words, it’s time for the Vestige to get their soul back, so the Five Companions assemble in the Harborage one last time.

After traveling to Coldharbour, the group encounters Mannimarco and the Vestige decides whether to free him or keep him imprisone𓂃d forever. Afterwards, the Vestige has to decide which member to sacrifice for the ritual. The then ritu🌠al takes place, injecting the Vestige with the power of the Divines.

After carving their way through countless Daedra, the Vestige battles Molag Bal, eventually cutting him in half with a blade of golden light. The Vestige is later transported to the Colored Rooms, Meridia’s oblivion realm. There, they are given their soul back and told that whoever they sacrificed is now a part of their soul as well. The Vestige is the savior of Tamriel.
