The Elder Scrolls Online was released way back in 2014. Now, four years later, ESO is still making various valiant efforts to polish off its experience for players. Last year, we saw the first Chapter release (another way of categorizing how they deliver DLC), Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind. In the long run, it would seem ZeniMax Online Studios - the team behind Elder Scrolls Online - want to keep to releasing yearly chapters, each containing three DLC packs. In Morrowind, we saw Horns of the Reach, Clockwork City, and the Dragon Bones downloadable-content make an appearance.

Most recently, Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset was released. Firstly, Wolfhunter arrives at our fingertips! This DLC has given us two new Werewolf-themed dungeons. One of which contains the Deadric prince Hircine himself! Secondly, it's confirmed that Murkmire will be available for players to explore and adventure across this fall. Estimated to be somewhere around the Shadowfen area, this area of Black Marsh will have a whole new storyline to follow and a devious new trial to try overcome known 🌼as🅷 the Blackrose Prison Arena.

With all this new content coming about, I thought it wise to arm you with 25 Crazy Facts that can give you the edge in The Elder Scrolls Online. I've been playing the game just over a year and a half now. I'm by no str𝓀etch of the imagination a professional player, but I've picked up a few tricks to share from my time in Tamriel. True love, weapon damage, build advice... all below!

24 Advanced Set🦋tings

You can adjust your settings to show the amount of damage you're dealing, a percentage and number on the enemy and your stats. You can display players on your compass and make their name and health bars appear overhead. You can also adjust it so it shows player name rather than Gamertag/PSN ID. On the PC Version of ESO, players can even remove grass! Apparently, it helps with resource foraging. Maybe that's what to expect next in the settings menu on the console. Familiarising yourself wit෴h all those complex settings will benefit your gamepla🔯y experience as a whole.

23 Skyshards &✱amp; Lorebooks 🦹

Skyshards and Lorebooks can be a pain sometimes. Notably, Skyshards are responsible for your skill-points and purple Lorebooks level-up your Mages Guild skill. There's a right and wrong way to go about grabbing these collectibles. The right way is to just go online and follow a quick guide. Trust me, there are lots to collect. Some people maꦗy feel more genuine collecting them naturally, but you won't get anywhere quick.  I would highly recommend the guides, they're easy to read and detailed enough to follow without any problems.

22 Guil🐼d Traders 🌌

Elder Scrolls Wiki - Fandom

Check with the guild traders regularly to see if you’re sit🍬ting on a gold mine! Compare prices with items you own and shop around to get the best deals and potential profit. Farm items that are worth the most gold and sell them to the guild traders for the going rate to make a nice amount. You can also check online on various apps and sites for a rough estimate of the value of each item, but values change based on the server. Join up to five player guilds to maximize your selling capacity. You can sell 30 items per guild-trad♔er. The busiest cities sell the most items, try to get traders in places like Grahtwood or Wayrest.

21 ꦿ Maximizing🐻 Stats

Elder Scrolls Online Forums

K♓nowing what to actually put your points into can be the make or break for many builds. When thinkin🍌g about what we want to achieve in the game, we should consider what we need to do to get our stats looking half-decent:

  • DPS: Max Weapon/Spell Damage and fair critical makes the best DPS. Focus on The Ri💙tual for W/damage or The apprentice for S/damage. The Medium armor is best for Stamina abilities and Light for Magicka abilities. Play to your stre🍸ngths.
  • Tank: Max Health and Stamina or Magicka makes the best Tanks, dependent on abilities and race. Resistance and heavy armor areꦗ crucial. Focus on the Lord.
  • Healer: Max Magicka and spell damage makes the best healers. Use light armor. Focus on the Ap൩prentice with Blessed and Elfborn.

20 ෴ Every La🌞st Drop Of Power!

It's also crucial we think about what we can do to get the most out of our sets and abilities. You should try and gold out all your gear, make sure that you have the appropriate traits on equipment, and use equipment sets (sets of five) and monster sets 🔴(sets of two) to get crucial bonuses to your statistics.

  • Use gold enchantments, transmutation stones, crafting, key traits, refinement and monster sets to help your build.
  • Make sure to have a variety of effects available to either help your team or hinder the enemy. Buffs are applied usually by tanks and healers, DPS builds should focus on Area-of-Effect and Damage-Over-Time as well as brutality-based abilities.

19 Player Morali𝄹ty Awareness (P.M.A)

elderscrollsguides.com

Some players will try to scam other players out of things, so be wary. Never pay for a Vampire or Werewolf bite, people give them out for free all the time. Be wary of what you g💮ive away and what you pay for. Some things are ridiculously expensive. On the other hand, some players will help you farm, give you gold for your time, and hang out. I’ve bought a few horses for players in my time... before they gave them out for free! Don’t get me started on the guys who queue as all three roles in a dungeon.

18 Sign ꦺOf The Lover

Elder Scrolls Wiki - Fandom

People actually meet and fall in love through The Elder Scrolls Online (like a lot of games, only far more common). I met my girlfriend on ESO from a different country in Britain and now we live together and have a baby daughter. Some people have even moved continents to be with one another. Sometimes it doesn't work out and creates rifts in the online communities. Honestly, it's better than the Jeremy Kyle Show sometimes. Interestingly, the biggest guilds have groups on ಞFacebook and are never shy ofཧ gossip! Think it's just a game now?

17 Been A Successful Outlaw 📖

Elder Scrolls Wiki - Fandom

You’ll want to be upgrading your Legerdemain abilities right away. Also, you’ll need ESOꦆ Plus or the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood DLC. Put skill points into every perk in both of these. Pickpocket people twice before ending them with the blade of woe, otherwise you’ll miss out on the potential three-item drops. The outlaw's refuge is your best friend, but they only appear inℱ capital cities of the area. When picking locks, after maxing legerdemain, you can just spam x and square until it opens. The Assistant fence is pretty poor, they take a 30% cut from you and you can't launder items, making the Refuge worth the visit every time.

16 ꦿ Regeneration Awareness:

youtube.com (The Ebony Peddler)

If you’re going to maximize stats, make sure you can compensate with the Recovery too. You can put points into the L🐭over champion tree to increase regeneration for all three attributes. You don’t want to run out of Magicka or stamina too quickly or you’ll be useless at casting abilities. Likewise, you don’t want to take forever to regenerate health or you’ll find yourself as fragile as glass (unless that's what you want). You can maximize your Stamina and Magicka recovery for DPS/Healer and Health recovery for Tank. Food canও help increase your recovery for up to two hours.

15 😼 Tank PvE Vs. PvP ꦉ

The Elder Scrolls Online

Tanking in PvE involves grouping ads and bosses, tak♔ing lots of damage and basically being the distraction so your team can dish out the DPS and the Healer can heal easier. Tanks in PvE should always be aware of where they are facing in relation to the team. They should try to face the enemy away from the team. In PvP, these abilities aren’t as efficient, although grouping the ads in keeps, farms, and castles can help, you can’t make the player follow you. Tanks should try and be as sturdy as possible with points in crit resistance, whilst still able to dish out a moderate amount of damage.
