The island of Solstheim has had its people controlled by the machinations of the first Dragonborn, Miraak. With the help of the Skaal, you have learned the first word of Bend Will, a Shout that will allow you to free its people from Miraak's control. Far from Skyrim, you need to free the rest of Solstheim.
The Skaal Shaman, Storn, has identified four more Stones for you to seize control of across the island, giving you an excellent opportunity to explore. The objectives may seem straightforward, but the quest will throw many unexpected challenges your way. Don't get too relaxed.
Starting Cleansing The Stones
You begin after reporting your success to Storn. Having freed his people from Miraak's control, he identifies four more Stones for you to cleanse, found throughout Solstheim.

Each stone cleansed will free more locals, allowing them to return to their usual schedules. Many areas that were once affected by Miraak's control such as Raven Rock will return to normal with many merchants and quest-givers available.
The Beast Stone
This Stone is most easily accessed by fast traveling to the Temple of Miraak and heading southeast. You will find it being attended to by the diminutive Rieklings, a native tribe that has taken over Thrisk Mead Hall nearby.
You can accept the quest The Chief of Thrisk Hall by visiting it after cleansing the stone to learn more about the Rieklings and gain their assistance.
Using Bend Will on the stone will free them from Miraak's control. The Rieklings will cower while a lurker erupts from the Stone.
The Earth Stone
The quickest way to reach it would be to fast travel directly to it. You would have visited it if you did not speak to Mogrul in Dragonborn. The Stone has enthralled both Raven Rock citizens and a handful of Reavers.
Using Bend Will will cause one lurker to appear from the half-constructed temple and another to approach from the shore. The Redoran Guardsmen will help you fight both of them.
The Reavers may begin fighting the Guardsmen immediately after being freed. It may be confusing but helping the Guardsmen would prevent any citizens from being killed.
The Water Stone
Being situated north of the Earth Stone, traveling directly to it would be most convenient. This method may involve jumping up a mountain. A small group of sailors is wor💙king ൩on the Water Stone.

The cleansing follows the same pattern as the previous ones, though a dragon may attack while you cleanse the stone. It will be hostile to both you and the lurker.
The Sun Stone
This stone is located in the southeast of Solstheim and is near Tel Mithryn, where you will need to go for the quest The Path Of Knowledge, which is automatically accepted with Cleansing The Stones. Doing this prior to continuing The Path Of Knowledge would be advised.
When cleansing this Stone, you will need to fight three lurkers as well as the Reavers who were enthralled by the Stone.
