In Dragonborn, you travel out of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skyrim and to the ash-covered island of Solstheim near the Dunmer homeland of Morrowind. Drawn by the challenge of a cult that tried to kill you, the new a🗹dventure will have you facing down the first Dragonborn, Miraak.
You will need to actually start the adventure, of course. The game doesn't tell you the requirements for starting the story if you want to get started right away. If you want to challenge Miraak or visit Solstheim as soon as possible, this guide will show you what you need to achieve to unlock the expansion.
The Cultist Attack
To start Dragonborn, you need to have unlocked the main story quest, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Horn Of Jurgen Windcaller. A pair of Cultists will begin searching Skyrim for you, likely finding you at a settlement in the daytime. After asking if you are Dragonborn, they will call you a fake and try to kill you🌊.
The Cultists are dangerous enemies, especially if you are early in the game. They have access to offensive magic and can summon a Flame Atronach.
Starting Dragonborn
Killing them will start the quest Dragonborn, asking you to read Cultists' Orders, a note you find on one of their bodies. It will tell you that they had come from Solstheim by way of Windhelm.
You will need to visit the Windhelm Docks to find Gjalund Salt-Sage, the sailor that had brought the Cultists to Skyrim. He is clearly distressed and confused about the Cultists and initially refuses to go back to Solstheim. You have to convince him to bring you there or pay double his usual rate.
You will be able to travel directly without having to convince him and by paying less gold if you go to Solstheim before starting Dragonborn.
Arriving At Raven Rock
With passage secured, you make it to the Dark Elf settlement of Raven Rock. The town is run down and desolate. Immediately after you disembark, you are questioned by Adril Arano, an official representing House Redoran about the purpose of your visit. Asking him about Miraak will confuse him, though he will mention the Earth Stone, updating the ques𒐪t, and placing a markeღr on the Stone.
Speaking to the Orc Mogrul will let you skip the visit to the Earth Stone.
On your arrival, you will see locals constructing a temple while mumbling to themselves and unable to give you any useful information. You will be approached by a man named Neloth who is observing the workers. Asking him about Miraak will have him point the way to The Temple of Miraak.
While tempting, it would be best to explore Raven Rock later in the expansion as the Earth Stone is currently disturbing the town's activities. Returning later would be advised.
The temple itself is to the northeast of Raven Rock and getting there will take you on a journey through Solstheim. Once you arrive, you will find another temple being constructed by mind-controlled villagers. Frea, a warrior calling out to her friends will be there. Talking to her will start the next quest.
