As the enigmatic floating ball of energy alluded to, your first encounter with one of the evilest rulers Skyrim has ever seen is not your final one. Falk Firebeard will ask you to return to the Blue Palace to deal with the consequences of the necromancers' actions at Wolfskull Cave.

The Wolf Queen Awakened will have you wading through the very history of Solitude itself as you put a stop to Potema's plan of taking over Solitude and the hold itself. The catacombs beneath the city have become filled to the brim with the undead of all kinds, Potema's minions of choice.

Starting The Wolf Queen Awakened

An adventurer speaks to members of a royal court in an opulent palace.

You will be approached by a courier sent by Falk Firebeard, asking you to return to the Blue Palace for help. There are new signs that Potema is returning and, given your prior encounter, your services will be especially valuable. Go to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Blue Palace in Solitude and start the quest by talking to him.

This quest needs you to complete 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Man Who Cried Wolf and to gain one level before the courier is sent.

He asks you to speak to Styrr in the Hall of the Dead. It is just down the road from the Blue Palace. Styrr explains that one of Potema's undead minions had emerged from the Solitude Catacombs in the Temple of the Divines. You have to clear them out and stop Potema.

Clearing The Catacombs

A warrior is struck by lightning from several enemies as he stares down at a burning puddle of oil

The Temple of the Divines is close to Castle Dour. Enter the building, take the hallway on the west, descend a staircase, and use a key Styrr gave you to unlock a metal gate. The destroyed wall is right in front of you. Enter it to reach the catacombs.

As soon as you step foot inside, Potema gives a greeting. She opens the way into the catacombs and is eager to "reward" you for preventing the necromancers from enthralling her soul in Wolfskull Cave.

You will fight a combination of draugr and vampires, a combination that befits a queen infamous for necromancy. These enemies are vulnerable to silver weapons, Flame damage, and other weapons that damage 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the undead such as Dawnbreaker.

Dust and cobwebs aside, the catacombs resemble Solitude's many opulent buildings only filled with undead instead of nobles. It is a linear dungeon that does not have any unusual quirks to be aware of.

There is a hallway blocked by a rotating door. Simply time your movement through it to get through. The next area, Potema's Refuge is right after it.

Solving The Rotating Doors At Potema's Refuge

A man runs through a hallway with a trio of levers in the foreground.

Potema's Refuge is a return to the ancient Nordic ruins that you have seen before. Cleanse it of undead until you reach a trio of levers and a matching set of rotating doors.

Each door is controlled by a corresponding lever, in the same order that they are encountered. For example, the lever furthest from the doors controls the outermost door. Each lever can be set to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise and will stop the door when raised to neutral. Stop the doors when a way through is established.

The final obstacle is a Blooded Vampire who will attempt to kill you to earn Potema's favor. They are assisted by a powerful draugr.

The door leading out of this chamber has a master-level lock. The Blooded Vampire carries its key.

The next door leads you to the final area, Potema's Sanctum where the Wolf Queen awaits.

Defeating Potema At Her Sanctum

A man dressed in leathers fights an undead leader wearing a horned helmet while a ball of lightning shoots beams of energy downwards.

There are only a handful more undead enemies left. Your path through will be blocked by Potema who raises a trio of bodies in a room full of corpses. You will have to defeat them to progress.

The corpse room's tight confines can be difficult for archers and mages to work around. You can run out of the room before they return to their feet or use Unrelenting Force to make some space.

Potema is all that remains. She floats above a large chamber as a ball of magic. The Wolf Queen will unleash her Inner Circle against you, sending several waves of draugr into the chamber to defeat y🍎ou.

Potema will not be idle. She fires beams of lightning at you throughout the fight. These beams are incredibly damaging and will drain your Magicka. You will need to run out of their path to avoid being hit.

A man strikes down a ghostly woman with a throne and skull in the background.

Once you have ended her Inner Circle's unlife, she will flee the chamber and face you as a ghost. At this point, she poses 𝔉litt♔le threat to you and can be dispatched easily.

Make sure to take her skull and help yourself to the contents of a large chest next to her throne.

With the threat ended, you can exit the catacombs and emerge outside Solitude, on a cliff.

Completing The Wolf Queen Awakened

A man dressed in yellow robes stands in a stone building with an animal skull behind him.

Falk is waiting for you at the Blue Palace, hoping to hear the good news. More importantly, he has your payment and a bonus, the Shield of Solitude.

The Shield of Solitude increases your magic resistance by 25 percent and will block 35 percent more incoming damage. It also sports the city's crest.

You will also need to return to Styrr and provide him with Potema's Skull so that he can purify it. With both tasks done, the day is once ag🍎ain ♐saved and the quest is completed.
