Farm for these Amorphous Materials to get your hands on Uꦐꦕltimate Valby.
While Luna isn't in a great spot currently, she can easily rise to the higher tiers with some small changes and the right build. In this guide, we'll go over how Lun🅷a works, how to obtain her, and showcase a starter build you can use in most open world and endgame content.
How To Unlock Luna
Luna's components drop from Mutant AA Amorphous Materials (AMP for short), most of which drop from Normal difficulty dungeons and Recon missions. You do not need Sharen to get the Recon AMPs, although it will ma💯ke farming for Luna's components much easier—Normal Recon missions have a chance of dropping the same AMP twice if you perform a successful infiltration.
Once you have the Amorphous Materials, you'll need to crack them open at a Void Reactor (Recon AMPs) or through a Void Intercept fight (dungeon AMPs). Luna's parts have a 20-32% drop chance, so getting her entire set shouldn't be as difficult as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:getting Ultimate Bunny or Gley. Once you have her c𒊎omponent blueprints, visit Anais in Albion to start researching Luna.

Use these XP farms to ✤level your Descendants quickly.
Luna Abilities Explained
Improvisation
Casting an ability on a nꦗote grants Inspiration. At max Inspiration, your next skill will be enhanced and consume all of your Inspiration stacks. Failing to hit a note with max Inspiration will drop four stacks instead. Inspiration decays after 20 seconds.
Luna's passive is a second resource called Inspiration. When you cast her first ability, you'll start to see notes crawl up to your aiming reticle. If you play a song right as the notes reach your reticle, you'll gain a stack of Inspiration. At x14 stacks of Inspiration, your next song will be enhanced. Enhanced songs give you a sli꧟ghtly stronger buff, while allies get entirely new buffs from the song like Skill Critical Chance or Co💙oldown Reduction.
However, Inspiration can also be lost rather easily. Playing an enhanced song will consume all Inspiration stacks, and missing a note before you cast your enhanced song will drain four stacks. Getting Inspiration is incredibly difficult, so make sure you cast your song at the right time. If you don't gain or spend any Inspiration within 20 seconds, your Inspiration gauge will reset.
Stage Presence
Equip Luna's unique weapon. Notes will appear while this gun is equipped. Hitting the notes increases 🔴your Skill Power Modifier. Failing to hit a note will drain a significant portion of your MP. You must time your other abilities with notes.

Luna's signature weapon is an energy handgun mixed with a megaphone. While this weapon is equipped, notes will appear on the bottom of your screen and glide toward your crosshair. If you shoot the weapon right as the note reaches the center of your crosshair, you'll fire a round with zero MP cost. Conversely, if you miss the note, the shot will consume a whopping 50 MP. This cannot be reduced with MP cost modules.
Since tracking notes and enemies simultaneously is quite challenging, this gun has auto-aim capabilities for all enemies inside the rectangular targeting area. As longꦓ as they're inside that reticle when you shoot, the round will hit.
Casting your other abilities is also done through the note system. To play a song, you must cast an ability as the note touches your crosshair. Failing to play a so🐼ng in t🃏ime will reduce your Inspiration gauge. If you successfully play a song, you'll gain a stack of Inspiration instead.
Luna's gun has mediocre base damage but benefits from Skill Critical modules. Spec for Skill Power and Skill Power Modifier to enhance her base damage. Modules such as range, duration, and cooldown do not affect this gun. However, certain modules installed on your currently equipped weapon are shared with Luna's signature pistol. Fire rate and magazine mods work with this gun.
Exciting Act
Luna empowers her allies, granting them Skill Power equal to a percentage of their max MP. Luna herself gains Skill Power Modifier wh⛄ile this song is active. If enhanced, allies also gain increased Skill Critical stats.

Despite the rather lengthy in-game description, Exciting Act is effectively two abilities in one. This song plays two different🌠 buffs, one for Luna and another for her squad. This goes for all of her songs, not just this one. The buffs are as follows:
- Luna: Gain +20% Skill Power Modifier.
- Allies: Gain Skill Power equal to 3.5% of Luna's max MP.
These buffs are not affected by Skill Power or Skill Power Modifier, but you can enhance your ally's Skill Power bonus by scaling your Max MP. Unfortunately, most Max MP mods in this game are fairly weak, so the practicality of doing this is tenuous at best. You'll want to scale Duration to extend the buff your allies receive and Range to make the song cover a larger radius. As lon༒g as the ally gets in the song's radius at any point, they'll receive the buff.
If you cast the song while at max Inspiration, allies will also gain increased Skill Critical Rate and Skill Critical Damage, two fairly rare stats🎐 that drastically increase your team's damage output. Pair this with Lepic or Bunny for some incredi🌜ble burst DPS. Luna gains 65% Skill Power Modifier instead.
Relaxing Act
Luna calms her allies, granti🐲ng passive MP recovery. Luna herself gains MP recovery when she lands notes while this song is playing. If enhanced, allies restore even more MP per second and gain resource cost reduction.

This song is all about MP sustain. Upon playing this song, you'll pr✤oject the following buffs:
- Luna: Hitting a note restores 0.8% of your max MP.
- Allies: Passively regenerate 0.7% of your max MP per second.
Since this ability restores your max MP, you can technically scale the amount of MP restored by scaling your max MP. Once again, most MP modules are fairly weak in First Descendant, so building for MP specifically isn't recommended. We suggest building for Duration and Range instead.
If you cast this skill with max Inspiration, allies will regenerate more MP and gain resource cost reduction. Luna does not gain the benefits of theꦕ enhanced aura. She gains additional MP recovery on note hit instead.
Cheerful Act
Luna plays a 🦄cheerful song, reducing ally cooldowns for its duration. Luna generates Inspiration with notes instead. While enhanced, allies have all cooldown✨s reset and benefit from additional cooldown reduction.

Lu🥂na's ultimate grants cooldown reduction for allies and provides a reliable source of Inspira⛄tion for Luna herself.
- Luna: Gain x1 Inspiration when you hit a note.
- Allies: Gain -10% cooldown reduction.
When enhanced, the aura will reset ally cooldowns and further reduce their cooldowns by 40%. Luna will generate twice as much Inspiration from notes instead. None of these effects can be modified, so we suggest building for Duration and Range.
How To Play Luna
Luna's gameplay loop is all about hitting your notes. Your signature weapon should always be active. You can let notes fly off your cursor without shooting, bღut when you need to start firing, the cadence must match the music or else you'll run out of MP. Fire only when you need to.
The main goal of Luna is to give your team as many buffs as possible, so you'll ideally want to juggle all three songs whenever possible. Cast them as they recharge to gain Inspiration. At max Inspiration use your second ability for more damage or your third ability to help your team's MP sustain. Luna shouldn't be shooting her weapon much. Juggling your songs should be your top prio💧rity. Only shoot when needed.
Due to her note mechanic, we do not recommend you play Luna solo. ♔Even with her Noise Surge augment, her damage output pales in comparison to most Descendants. If you want an AoE character,♎ play Bunny or Viessa instead.

Ideal Stats |
HP, Range |
This build for Luna focuses on increasing her HP and range. We start by equipping Increased HP to ensure Luna can take a hit. We then run Skill Expansion, Time Distribution, and Arche Acceleration to extend Luna's abilities. Her auras are now much larger and should be much easier to use in combat. Arche Acceleration🌌 also increases your animation speed, making it easier to swap songs.
Finally, we suggest running Potent Collector. Kills have a chanc꧟e of generating Inspiration, even if you aren't using Luna's signature pistol. You can use your main weapon to build max Inspiration, activate your first ability, then cast an enhanced song r🌃ight away. It's the only way you can mitigate Luna's cumbersome kit.
Since so many of her abilities aren't affected by CDR and similar stats, we don't recommend investing any resources in Luna, at least for the time being. She doesn't scale well due to her 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:modding limitations.
