In a hidden 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ancient Roman city, you begin with the mystery of finding Al Worth, before the objective changes to helping Magistrate Sentius figure out who will trigger The Golden Rule and turn everyone into gold. Soon, you'll figure out not all things are as they seem, and that the good guys are actually the ones you have to watch out for.

With four different endings, The Forgotten City deals with issues of morality and what lengths you'd go to set things right. Here's how to unlock each ending.

4 The Many Shall Suffer - Ending O🌄ne ও

The Forgotten City The Many Shall Suffer ending.

The ending marked as ending one in the achievements is the worst possible ending in the game, since you save nobody from The Golden Rule. After finding Sentilla and having her reveal Sentius's dirty laundry, you can go back up to the city. However, this time you must head straight to Sentius's villa and kill him. If you chose to play as a soldier, you can use your gun to do this; otherwise, use the Bow.

Once you kill him a time paradox occurs, and you're sent back to your time. Not only do the citizens of the city have a bad ending, but you do too. Al Worth derides you for killing a man without remorse and condemning the two of you to a horrible fate. This is true, because this ending does not allow you to see Charon, who is the only person able to return you to the land of the living. So technically, you and Al are stuck🐠 there ꧒forever.

3 ♎ The One That Got Away - Ending Two 🦋

The Forgotten City The One That Got Away Ending

Unlike the previous ending, this ending only sees you and Sentilla escape the city. To get this ending, you do not ask Sentilla about gathering the others, but instead immediately set her free. This triggers Sentius's appearance, where he reveals that he was the one who caused Al Worth's suicide as well as began the time loop. As Sentius shows off in a classic, villain-like way, allow Sentilla to kill him, or you can do that with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Golden Bow.

Since the cause of the time loop is dead, you're sent back to your time and everything pans out like 'The Ones That Got Away' ending. Except, when Charon gives you Sentilla's stone tablet, it'll show that she's the only survivor and left feeling an immense amount of guilt for not saving the others.

2 The Ones Tha🧸t Got Awa꧋y - Ending Three

The Forgotten City The Ones That Got Away Ending

In this ending, you will find the missing Sentilla who is locked in the cistern, where she'll unmask Sentius's sins. You can get the key to the upper cistern after helping Galerius get elected or simply barge through the lower cistern door beneath Malleolus's villa. But instead of freeing her, there's the dialogue option to ask her if it's possible to save the others as well. Once you do that, return to the city and start another time l🃏oop.

You'll meet Galerius as usual, but you must instruct him to gather as many people (except Sentius) to the upper cistern. Then go back to Sentilla and free her, before allowing her to be the one to kill Sentius after a brief confrontation. After killing Sentius, you'll be engulfed in white light and returned to your time, where a living Al Worth finds you.

At the banks of the Tiber, Karen (or Charon) wiꦉll hand you a stone tablet. Sentilla writes about the aftermath of your disappearance, and sadly, only a few good people survived The𝓀 Golden Rule.

1 ജ The Canon Ending - Ending Fo🎐ur

The Forgotten City Persuading Pluto and saving everyone

Arguably the best ending you can get in the game, it isn't refered to as the canon ending for nothing. The Great Temple overlooking the entire city is locked until you find all the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:necessary plaques to insert into the obelisk. Then, you'll be confronted with a series of doors. By looking at the statues and their outfits, you'll understand that you'd have to speak all the God of the Underworld's names in a specific order: Pluto; Hades; Osiris; Nergal. Once you have unlocked the doors, you'll be granted entry to meet with the infamous Pluto, God of the Underworld himself. There are two ways this can go down.

First, you can fail to persuade Pluto. But wait, all is not lost! There's the option to kill Proserpina and grab her crown, before fleeing to restart the loop. Then you can go back to the Great Temple, show Pluto his wife's crown, and basically bully him into letting everyone go.

The other way is to launch into a philosophical debate on morality and show Pluto that he's no better than the humans he looks down on. To do that, you🌳 must pick certain dialog𒈔ue options after asking him his story and where you are:

  • "Are you responsible for The Golden Rule?"
  • "I've seen some terrible things here..."
  • Pick all the dialogue options that show all the sins you've come across that are overlooked, like Malleolus tricking citizens into becoming his slaves.
  • "It's no wonder the people say the gods are cruel..."
  • "And if you did, you'd be proving my point."
  • Don't snitch on Proserpina
  • "I'd like you to end the Golden Rule."
  • "How can you expect us to live without sin?"
  • "You've given terrible punishments to hundreds of people..."
  • "If our positions were reversed..."
  • "Your kind and mine can't be so different..."
  • "What makes your kind superior to mine?"
  • Pick anything but "Fair enough"
  • "What was it the Roman Stoics said?"
  • "But didn't you say Jupiter was your leader?"
  • "If you can't follow your own rule..."

Pluto will then be convinced and agree to abolish The Golden Rule and release everyone. Then, you'll be granted a heartwarming epilogue of all the citizens hailing you as a hero.
