As we all know, the recent 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Halo Infinite stress test only allowed for players to play against bots, and 343 Industries has shared some reasons behind this decision in a recent . Earlier this summer, we got a closer look at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:details for the Ha🍎lo Infinite campaign through the tech test. Now, in this newest video, live operations producer Sam Ha♐nshaw shared two major factors that went into the decision to have the stre♔ss test only involve bots.
The first reason was mostly due to what the team needed to see in terms of player interaction with the bots. “The bots and the weapon drills are two key pieces of our new player onboarding. Having players experience that for the first time in our first public flight like this was really important, because we get that initial feedback of what it's like to pick up this game and learn it through the weapon drills and through bot play.”
Secondly, the team needed to get a better idea of how many players they could handꦯle with PvP. Harshaw explains it like this:
One other thing we get from flighting using the bot matches is we only have four people in each match, so we have to spin up a dedicated server for every 4 people who are on. So essentially by doing this, we doubled our server strain for this audience size.🦹 So this increases our confidence for shipping and releasing to larger and larger audiences. So we know with the hundreds of thousands ofꦕ people who we invited for this tech preview, when we did it with bots, that we can handle twice that many people at least with PvP.
Unfortunately, this video did not just include some needed explanation. We also sadly found out that Halo Infinite;s campaign wi𒉰ll not include co-op mode at launc💙h, nor will it include Forge. While they described this as a “really tough decision to delay,”💙 they made it clear that this would be the only way for Halo Infinite to still ship on time.
