Their feelings for each other are obvious, especially due to the longevity of their friendship. So, when Mel turns up the day after Abby and Owen sleep together, Abby unsuccessfully acts unbothered. This is one of their last secluded conꦗversations before Owen is killed by Ellie.

There's obvious tension between Mel and Abby since they're in love with the same person. After Mel has been visibly quiet with Abby, the assumpti💟on was of the underlying issues surrounding Owen. When Abby confronts Mel about why she's been avoiding her, she proceeds to say that she was shaken by what happened in Jackson (killing Joel.)
Instantly in defence, Abby questionsﷺ whether Mel doesn't think that Joel got what he deserves. In response, Mel says that Joel deserved worse f🦩or murdering Abby's father but wishes that she didn't take part. We know that in a later scene, Ellie kills Mel for her involvement in Joel's death.

Mel has obvious reasoning as to why she dislikes Abby, and that's due to her relationship with Owenꦰ. Since Mel is pregnant with Owen's child, she has an obvious dislike for her friend. Visiting Owen the day after he coincidentally is disloyal by sleeping with Abby, Mel confronts Abby privately to call her out.
Even though we don't hear Mel say that she knows a🎃bout the intimate events between Owen and Abby, she is aware that something is going on. Mel assumes that Abby still has major feeꦫlings for Owen and possibly assumes that it's only one-sided, but we'll never know
7 😼 🅘 "Those Were Your F***ing People." - "You're My People."
The first introduction to Scars is in the second edition of The Last Of Us franchis🌱e. They're a newly introduced cꦦharacter aspect of the gaming series. We see Scars do some pretty gruesome things. They're noticeable for the visible scars on their face and being pretty bad people.
If one thing is for certain, Scars are not supposed to be associated with. But two Scars, Lev and Yara, save Abby from death, so Abby feels as if she has a loyalty to help them. Abby isn't afraid to put her own life before theirs and even before her own "people." Once Yara is killed, she isn't afraid to 🔯hurt the people that she once⛄ considered family.
6 "I'm Not Going To Fight You." ๊- "Yes, You Will."
When Ellie finally seeks down Abby for the last time, she's extremely weak and had been left to die. In the last conversation that Abby and Ellie had, Abby said, "Don't ever let me see you again." After finally being reunited, we expected that the scene woul📖d be one of hatred.
Not wanting to fight, Ellie threatens Abby to take part as she puts a sharp knife to Lev's neck. Despite being as weak as Abby, it doesn't stop Ellie from wanting to fight. We know that Ellie's mindꦚ is overwhelmed with the thought of killing Abby. Regardless, she lets her go free.
5 "She's Pregnant." - "Good." 🤡
This scene is particularly hard to watch for obvious reasons. After Abby and Ellie are battling it out in the theatre, Dina saves Ellie from getting pummelled by Abby's fist. Abby is quick to re𒊎act and puts a knife to her throat. Ellie begs her to stop, claiming that Dina's pregnant.
We know from previous scenes that Ellie killed Mel who was also pregnant. Abby thought maliciously about her lack of care towards Dina's pregnancy since Ellie had already killed her pregnant friend. Despite how she might feel, Abby spared her life after the realisation of what ꦉshe was doing.
4 "If It Was Me...Iಌ'd Want You To Do The Surgery."
This is the last conversation that Abby has with her dad. Convincing him to do the surgery, he agrees to operate on Ellie despite the threat of it killing her, to save mankind. We know already from t💯he first instalment of The Last Of Us that this surgery didn't go ahead. Joel was not one to hold back on saving Ellie's life.
In The Last Of Us 2, we come to realise that the surgeon who intended to do the surgery was in fact Abby's dad, a character that we're introduced to fa൲irly early on in the game. Abby has a vengeance against Joel and seeks to kill him after he murdered her dad.
3 🙈 "You Ki𝄹lled My Friends. We Let You Live And You Wasted It!"
Despite what your opinions of Abby might be, she's no stranger to loss. The vengeance that Ellie has against Abby after she killed Joel meant that she would go at anything to find her whereabouts. That also includes killing anyone in her path. At the scene of Joel's death, Abby's friends had the opportunity to kill Ellie but spared her lif🎃e.
Despite having saved her life, Ellie and Tommy kill all of Abby's friends. If you think about it, besides Lev, Abby really doesn't have anyone around her anymore. Everyone that she's ever cared for has died at the hands of Ellie or Tommy. Considering that she just wanted to avenge her dead father, that's♑ pretty upsettiಌng.

L😼ev and Ab🌼by's friendship is definitely unexpected. When Lev first met Abby, he had all intentions to le📖ave her to die. It was Yara that convinced Lev to save Abby. Since this moment, they have grown unimaginably close considering the circumstances.
