Switching between weapons in The Last of Us: Part II is cumbersome, to say the least (while putting it nicely). While in the middle of an ಞintense firefight or during the chao🐲s of fighting a horde of infected, the last thing that you should be doing is fumbling through the D-pad process of switching weapons, should you run out of ammo or need a quick-change instead of taking the time to reload. Thankfully, if you’re able to snag the weapon holster, you’ll be able to switch between weapons with ease so that you can focus on more important things… like surviving.
As Ellie and Dina are making their way through Seattle en route to the television station - and after finding Thomas' horse - they’ll come across an area that is loaded with trip mines. After letting the two infected Runners trip some of some wires so that Ellie doesn’t have to (trust me, it’s worth it), her and Dina will eventually find themselves in a slightly smaller area that is clustered with cars and trucks, and filled to the brim with trip mines. You’ll know you're in the right place if you find yourself in a gym with a bunch of .
Instead of cont𓆏inuin꧙g on your way atop the roof of the small, white semi-truck, head to the left - WATCH OUT FOR TRIP MINES - where you’ll find a Goodwill-styled store and donation center.
Loot the main area, then make your way to the ജback of the store to the room that has a couple of doors and a bulletin b🅺oard.
The room to the left of where you entered holds a combination safe th🌞at can be unlocked, but be careful opening the door, as a legless Clicker will scream and chase after you by dragging itself across the floor. Put the Clicker out of its ൲misery, and then check out the bulletin board.
A note on the board indicates that the c♎ombination to the vault is the last six digits of the phone number of someone named Stacy.
Enter the other door in the room, and you’ll find a bathroom with the typical tagged-up walls that you might expect from a run-down public bathroom, which also just so happens to have Stacey’s full phone number written on it (for those ☂who, apparently, want to have a good time). The last six digits of her phone number that will open up the safe are:
55-01-33
Open up the safe, and you’ll be rewarded with a bunch of ammo, resources, and a weapon holster that will allow you to switch between weapons much easier - specifically, Ellie’s rifle and shotgun (should you have it) - without having to hold down the Square Button. You’ll also be able to swap the position of your weapons for even faster access, which - as most players know - is always a good thing since Ellie’s demise in The Last of Us: Part II could occur within a split-second.
