Which level t🅷ype is the b𒈔est in The Last of Us Part 2 No Return?

While we detail the best bosses below, we mostly take into account how fun they are to fight, regardless of their difficulty. ⛎After all, some of the most fun boss fights are so enjoyable 🦄because they present a unique challenge.

The game recommends you beat the campaign before jumping into No Return. We also recommen🧜d this, especially since 🍒some bosses are taken from the campaign.

6 ꧋ Rattler Captain

He's A Bullet Sponge

The Rattler Captain is an uneventful encounter. The fight starts in stealth, and he has the height advantage over you. You can sneak around and take out the enemies one by one, or you can go for the kill r๊ight away.

If you have an upgraded Bolt-Action Rifle or a Double-Barrel Shotgun with Incendiary rounds, you can destroy the Rattler Captain quickly. It is not a bad fight by any stretch of the word; it is just a regul👍ar enemy with a beefed-up health bar.

All bosses with other enemies require all other enemies to be killed before the encounter is finished. Don't feel relieved once you beat the boss if other adversaries are still alive in the playing area.

5 S♌eraphಌite Elite

Two Bosses In One

If you have good equipment, the Seraphite Elite boss encounter can be over in seconds. The two bosses are right in front of you at the start of the battle. Jump out of cover and blast both of them away quickly, and the hardest part of the job is already done. If you had a poor run and didn't get the best guns, then it would be a longer and harder battle.

Which guns should you look out for?

Taking them in quick succession is what makes this boss so fun, but if you are unable to do so, then it just feels like a regular battle against two normal enemies who happen to have a lot of health. In this way, it doesn't differentiate from the Rattler Captain in any significant way.

4 ✃𒆙 Garage Bloater

Water Up To Your Knees

The Garage Bloater is a fight directly ripped from the story. The Bloater has more health than a regular bloater, and infected enemies pour in to distract you from the main fight. It is overwhelming, and you rarely have time to even use a Health Kit before an enemy ▨rushes you.

You can gain a small advantage by climbing on top of the various cars stationed in the garage. Give🌳n how fast the other enemies run, it is hard to just focus your attention on the bloater when you feel the other enemies corner you.

3 𒈔 Arcade Bloater

Destroy Video Games In A Video Game

The Arcade Bloater is the firs🌠t boss fight in No Return. Like the Garage Bloater, various infected jump into the fray and take your attention away from the main boss in the room. It is endlessly entertaining to see the bloater destroy parts of the environment.

You run around the arcade cabinets, thinking the enemy will follow in the same path. However, it just bursts through the cabinets and closes the distance while also just being a terrifying animation. It is a flat play area, so you cannot use climbing or high objects to get away from the bloater. It is best to have a lot of ammunition for the fight. Run away, turn and fire a few shows, and continue runni🌺ng t𓆏o keep a safe distance.

2 Theatre Infestation 𒁏

Fighting A Stalker In The Same Place Where You Fight Ellie

In the story, the theatre is a vitally important location. It is where major characters come to a head and where a surprising boss battle takes place. No Return doesn't carry the same narrative weight, so it is not quite as impactful when you fight the Stalker in the theatre.

The backstage area where the fight takes place is crowded with props and stage design, which makes for many terrifying opportunities for enemies to jump out behind a corner. The closed spaces mean you often take on the boss face to face. However, this also makes the flamethrower a great weapon to have for this encounter.

1 Rat King

An Iconic Boss Fight

Rat King is one of the most iconic scares from The Last of Us Part 2. The mere design of the beast is enough to strike fear in the hearts of even the most hardened gamer. I💙n the story, there is a lot of buildup to this fight as characters warn you about what is in the Hospital, but the beast just shows up right in front of you in No Return.

Unlike all the other bosses on this list, it kills you in one hit. After taking out half of its health, a Stalker breaks off, and now you have to fight tꦏwo enemies at once.

There is a section in the center of the arena where two square rooms are connected. You can run in a figure-eight pattern between the two columns and chip away at the Rat King's health as it follows in pursuit.
