168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part 2 introduced a new location called the Seraphite Island in Seattle, Washington. As the Cordyceps outbreak first began to spread, the island's inhabitants cut themselves off from the rest of the city and rejected military aid, choosing to instead follow 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a so-called prophet, becoming the aptly named Seraphites.
Originally, Neil Druckmann planned for Ellie to visit the Seraphite Island, describing her journey as though "she's going through the different layers of Hell". However, for pacing, the concept was scrapped. With the remaster promising playable🅘 "Lost Levels", many assumed we'd finally get to see Ellie's visit unfold. But, as reported by , that's not the case.
There was a whole side story where Ellie went to the Seraphite island and we had so much more to say about the Seraphites and Ellie's journey there and she's going through the different layers of Hell and she still keeps going forward.
There are three Lost Levels coming with the remaster - the Sewers, Jackson Party, and Boar Hunt. The latter was briefly mentioned in-game, as you can find a note saying, "It happened again. I was hunting this boar and I'd cornered it in this old gas station. It was bleeding out, screaming. Sounded like [Joel]. I couldn't get the images out of my head. I left it there, dying. My skin hurts."
Originally, in the farm sequence with Ellie, Dina, and the baby, we would've seen this boar hunt first-hand.
"We shot cut-scenes for that," Druckmann said. "There was a whole playable sequence of her hunting down a boar and it was awesome, but we felt for pacing and production purposes it was just better to remove it. Art was done, and Ashley [Johnson] gave a great performance&q♐uot;.
Three years later, the Boar Hunt sequence is finally coming to the game. As for the Sewers,ꦉ we know little about what this level will entail.
The remaster is also adding a new roguelike survival mode dubbed 'No Return'. Here, you step into the shoes of previously unplayable characters and survive for as long as possible against randomised encounters with enemies and bosses lifted from the story.
“Unique gameplay modifiers can offer new and unexpected challenges as you fight to succeed – and survive – in a host of different encounter types," the store page reads. "Play as a variety of characters including Dina, Jesse, Lev, Tommy, and more༒, each with unique traits to offer different playstyles, and unlock skins for them as you progress to use in the mode.”
No Seraphite Island, but a heartbreaking Boar Hunt and new roguelike mode will be part of the remaster when it launches on January 19, 2🅰024.
