It has only been a short while but it's pretty clear that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part II currently has a split aud♊ience. The🍷 reviews are high from critics, which is actually interesting considering a big twist in the game. Fans have been mixed at best.
⛎Anyway, in order to properly critique the game for the actual worst things it does, there will be spoilers after the intro here. Not everything will be a spoiler, but there are enough of them where this warning seemed ne💞cessary.
10 Best: Flashbacks
With Joel dying early, it was nice to get some extra time with him through flashbacks. That’s what was so endearing with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us: Joel’s bond with Ellie.
It got to a boiling point at the end༒ where he chose her over the world as any father might do. The first flashback in particular, with the museum, was the best𓆉.
9 Worst: The Second Half
The first part with Ellie has its ups and downs, but overall it is a solid narrative o🔴f revenge. Then the second half kicks in with Ellie be🌃ing replaced by Joel’s killer, Abby. This might make players put the game down.
It was a controversial choice to be sure, bu𓆉t sometimes pushing bu🥀ttons isn’t always the right thing to do. This is most clear when players are forced to choke out Ellie.
8 Best: Yara And Lev
As hard as Abby🍒’s journey is to stomach, there are some shining moments. For example, her helping out Yara and Lev was a good choice fundamen🐻tally as an attempt at redeeming her.
The story of the lost Scars through gender politics is told rather well. It's not perfect, bu🎃t it was an interesting take, to say the least. Plus Lev is 🃏just a cool character.
7 Worst: Dog Murder
Good job on letting players finally pet dogs in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us, Naughty Dog. Bad jobᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ on then forcing players to kill dogs via tꦏhe trained hounds on the WLF’s side.
True, o🅷ne can try and avoid combat, but there is at least one dog murder that cannot be skipped. Hearing a dog whimper and the owner cry from it happening ♌was just too much to handle.
6 Best: Guitar Hero
Unfortunately, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us was devoid of ꦡmini-games. That was mostly fine as not all games need it. While this sequel isn’t flooded with them, their choice in placement is fun for relieving the dark stress of the narrative.
Playin😼g the guitar, in particular, was a great way to not only pass the time but to hear some of the game’s beautiful soundtrack. The covers are good too, especially Ellie’s rendition of “Take on Me.”
5 Worst: Hint System Inconsistencies
While 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us had some divergent paths to explore, for the most part it was a straightforward adventure. That is to say, it wa⛄s hard to get lost. Wh༺ile the more open landscape of the sequel is grand, it is also easy to get lost.
Sometime🌃s characters will drop hints on where to go which can range widely from the 🌱time they are dropped. It would have been better if there was a button prompt one could ask for guidance especially in the darker, more cramped sections.
4 Best: Open-World Like
It can be easy to get lost in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part II, but that being said, it i✤s not impossible to get out of any situation. One cannot imagine the sequel without the open sections. It gives so much character to the world itself.
The earliest section of Seattle is the biggest open part of the game. Unfortunately, it gets a bit more confined fro♑m ♉there. It would have been nice if the entire game was more like that portion, but as it stands now, the open-world like nature is still a big improvement.
3 Worst: No Map
The final piece to this trilogy of hints and🐬 open areas is this. In the first Seattle section, Ellie gets a map and even marks off♈ buildings she and Dina explored. There is no map in the rest of the game, which is another reason why it can be easy to get lost.
Giving Ellie a real map to give the world context was a great idea, but iℱt may have been a better choice to give players an in-game map instead that w♏asn’t story sensitive. It could have fixed a lot.
2 Best: Graphics
It felt like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us was the swan song of the PS3 for many reasons. ꦍOne of which was the graphical boos🃏t Naughty Dog was able to harvest out of the old system. The same is true for this sequel.
From the breathtaking scenery to the character emotions to the extreme gore, the graphical beauty in this game is jaw-dropping. It will be interesting to see if the next PS4 exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima, will be more impressive.
1 Worst: Too Many Cooks…That Are Evil
The biggest issue with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part II, as it was lightly touched on earlier with Abby, is that the overall plot is messy. Naughty Dog seeming♕ly wanted to have their cake and eat it too with many aspects.
On top of that, there are too many villains between Abby and the WLF, the Scars, and the hastily thrown in Rattlers at the very end. As the entry title implies, there weꦛre too many cooks in the bad guy kitchen.
