Role-playing games and fishing go together like fish and chips, don't they? Or beer batter and cod. Shrimp and cocktail sauce. Salmon and... broccoli? 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Trails from Zero wouldn't ditch fishing — not when Trails in the Sky sets it up so well. As an added bonus this time around, our hero Lloyd makes the most painful fishing puns this side of bad stand-up comedy.
There are some great rewards for catching one of every fish. Some, predictably, are far tougher to find than others. You'll need your rods, your bait, and your wits. Oh, and this guide. You'll need that, too.
Fishing 101
When it comes to how to fish in Trails from Zero, the answer is frankly as simple as what is written above. To be a bit more specific about it, three ellipses will appear over Lloyd's head after casting. After the third ellipsis, 'HIT' will eventually appear in colorful letters. This is when you tap a button to reel the fish in. Do it quickly, or it will escape with your bait!
How To Get Started Fishing
During Chapter One, Day One, when the party is sent to Armorica Village, progress with main story events until the fellow in this screenshot appears on the town's bridge. His name is Kopan, and he'll "hook" you up with a Novice Rod, a Fishing Notebook, plus two types of bait: ten Earthworms and ten Dumplings.
Kopan directs you to the Armorica Village fishing spot. Anywhere with water and a blatant bubbly section (as seen below) is a fishing spot. Different fish can be ꦏcaught at different spots, although there is plenty of overlap for ꦑthe more common species.
The Fishing Notebook And You
The Fishing Notebook records every new species of fish you catch, as well as the number of times they've been caught, the record for largest of its kind, and a nice little lore-based blurb underneath. There are 24 species of f♔ish in Trails from Zero, a fact that can be discerned immediately thanks to the number of slots in the Fishing Notebook.
Consulting this is key to recalling what you've caught at any given time. Our guide can show you the way, but it's up to you to avoid wasting time chasing fish you've already "tackled."
Where To Get Every Rod And Bait
There are five fishing rods and ten types of bait, although five of the baits are actually fish. Thus, you will ne♊ed to catch certain kinds of fish, hook them to your rod, and use them to catch some of the more elusive species.

As for the Serpenthead, you will only be able to catch this after turning in all 23 prior fish. That's when you'll receive the Aqua Wizard rod... but alas, no instructions on where to fish. Or which bait to use. The answer is the Ursula Road Estuary, though if that doesn't ring any bells, this should:
With the Serpenthead presented, Lloyd becomes a master-class fisherman. In addition to all the rewards you've obtained along the way, remember that you can trade all your fish for sepith at one of the vendors on East Street. With everything you've caught up until now, you might be surprised just how much this can bank you.
