Despite the popularity of Trails (Kiseki in Japan), the remake of the series' beloved first entry Trails in the Sky only appeared in the for 9 seconds. We see Estelle and Josuha Bright walk around, bash a couple of enemies and that's it.

Interestingly, the had the remake featured for a full minute, showing additional footage of the foster siblings walking around and fighting various enemies. Fans have been describing the remake as a smoother version of The Legend of Heroes: T🙈rails Through Daybreak.

The decision by Nintendo to only show a couple of seconds of footage in their English language Direct has baffled and confused fans. "It looked good, it was on screen for 5 seconds," reads the🍬 top comment of a made in the wake of𒁃 the announcement.

"Why was such a big announcement just there for less than 20 seconds," reads another comment. The replies to꧒ which humorously speculate on Goat Simulator and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game being deserving of more screen time.

However, there may be a valid reason for the difference in the Japanese and English Directs. As some have speculated, the Japanese version of the game may be closer to release than the international version. It's not uncommon for Nihon Falcom to have gaps between its Japanese and international releases. The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 has still not been released in the West despite releasing in Japan back in 2022.

In this case, both the Japanese and international versions are set tཧo release sometime in 2025, with the Japanese version presumably coming earlie꧂r.
